the founding of the pack
when venus and pluto got kicked out of their former pack for being lesbians, they set out to create a pack of ragtag wolves who would all stick together, regardless of their differences. and so, after a few days of traversing the forests, they ended up finding the perfect spot to stay. this pack lives by the mitrikíagápi lake (aka the cool waters, moon's mirror, or lake of many names), a lake filled with pure water which they use for spiritual and recreational purposes.

the wolves of this pack believe in a pack which operates as an afterlife for pups/adolescents who died young and wolves who did their tasks in their pack nobly, called the pack of cool waters. they tend to linger by the mitrikíagápi lake, so still-living wolves tend to use the waters to communicate to their deceased loved ones. the leader of this afterlife-pack is cilios, the god of the afterlife. he is a melanistic wolf god, while his sister (aione, goddess of life) is an albino wolf goddess. if you are a wolf who dies without having done your tasks for the pack nobly, you are reincarnated as a pup to give you an opportunity to work for your pack.
