Lead Wolf

 Name: Leela

 Personality: Leela is wise, and strong. She knows she is capable, she doesn't gloat about it and yet she doesn't pretend she's not. She knows what she can do and is proud of that, and she knows in some things she needs the help of other wolves. Leela is organized, and tries to approach problems from a logical standpoint, not letting emotion get in the way. Its not that she doesn't feel emotions, its that she is afraid they'd cloud her judgment, or make her a worse leader. She is very compassionate, and when under pressure she may leave all 'logic' behind trying to help everybody. 

 Backstory: Leela was born into a small dysfunctional pack. She had many siblings, and all everyone ever did was quarrel. When danger set on the pack they spent all their time arguing about what to do and not actually doing anything. This meant many wolves died in battle, or starved in winter. She stayed until she was a year old, but then she was pushed over the edge (she won't say what it was) and fled her pack. She stayed on her own for a while, exploring the land. She met Lyra, who was also traveling alone. They decided to continue together. They spend the following weeks exchanging stories, and grew a very close bond. Eventually they came across a forest in an unexplored region and decided to settle together. After settling down wolves would join them. Travelers mostly, only staying for a bit before moving on. Some of them stayed, and these members became what she has come to call 'Red Oak Pack'. 

Pack Members

 Name: Lyra

 Role: Scout

 Personality: Lyra is fast, and wise. She tends to avoid conflict, and keeps her thoughts to herself. She has an active imagination, and a love for adventure. Despite not speaking much she is is good with other wolves, and tells the best stories. 

 Backstory: Lyra was born in a litter of two, to a mother with no pack. They struggled to survive each day, and her younger brother didn't live past three months of age. Her mother was fierce, but she kept her alive. Lyra was grateful for that. The two traveled together, exploring the world. When she was old enough to fend for herself she left in the night. Her mother may not have said so, but she was struggling to feed both of them. She traveled on her own for a long time, enjoying the adventure that is life. She solved her problems by running from them, but she couldn't run forever. When she first met Leela she knew she was drawn to her, though she didn't know for what reason. With time they became the best of friends, and Lyra learned what it was to love someone so dearly you would die for them. Everything about the pack life doesn't suit her, she grows more uncomfortable as the pack grows. Leela made her the scout, so she could spend days away from home. Sometimes she dreams of running into the unknown, and just keep running until all she knows is far behind her. Lyra has told no-one of the fantasies.

 Name: Humbug

 Role: Finisher

 Personality: Humbug is a big, sweet, goofball. He is scatter-brained, and a little all-over the place. He is very strong, and  sometimes isn't aware of this making him pretty clumsy.

 Backstory: Humbug doesn't talk much about what he did before he met Gillyweed. After he fell in love with Gillyweed the two of them traveled together, not quite trusting any packs. Eventually they were sick of the constant travel, so when they found Red Oak Pack they decided to settle together. 

 Name: Beetle

 Role: Chaser

 Personality: Beetle is very upbeat, and very silly. Always optimistic her over-bearing joy can be a bit much to those who don't know her. 

 Backstory: Beetle was raised in a large, strong, pack. She was always the smallest of her siblings, but she was fast and agile. Those traits served her well. She stayed in the pack for years, but when her mother, the former alpha, died she was chased from the pack along with many others. She didn't let this get her spirits down, and quickly found a new pack to settle in, and new wolves to become friends with. 

 Name: Gillyweed

 Role: Stalker

 Personality: Gillyweed is very patient. You'd have to be if your boyfriend was Humbug. He is very observant, and chill. 

 Backstory: Gillyweed ran away from home at a young age, when he was almost two he met Humbug and the rest was history. He struggled at most things in his early years due to his bright white coat. He learned how to work around it, and somehow manages to be the stalker of his hunting party. 

Puppies

 Name: Artimis

 Future Role: Herbalist

 Personality: Artimis is very friendly and very compassionate. She can be naïve, but she is quite clever. She may be overbearing at times, but her sociable nature makes her impossible not to love.

 Backstory: She was born to a very large pack. They could not care for her so she Red Oak Pack took her in.

Artimis's Studies are Interrupted 

Artimis was carefully turning various herbs under her paws, muttering names and recipes Cream and Herbert had told her. 

"Yarrow, used for pox and open wounds. Garlic... used for ticks and... dammit what was garlic used for?" she growled in frustration. Just then Jackal ran right through her stores and hid behind her legs, followed closely by Selkie.

"You can't get me here!" Jackal howled joyfully, although her was cut short when Artimis turned on him furious. 

"What do you think you are doing?! You ruined these" she gestured frantically towards the trampled herbs "If one of these wolves gets sick and DIES it is your own damn fault!" she snarled at the puppy, who laid his ears back and whimpered.

"I- I'm sorry... I didn't mean! I swear! I just..." Jackal's eyes welled with tears.

"We were just playing!" Selkie piped up, but her voice was squeakier than usual.  

"I know... I know... just be more careful next time okay?" Artimis sighed and licked Jackal's head in apology. He grumbled in complaint before scrambling off, again running through the young wolf's herbs. Artimis covered her eyes with her paws and muttered something under her breath, but by that time Selkie and Jackal were already far off.
