The moment James heard the other voice on the phone he froze up. He went silent for a few moments. "I-Uh, I-I need to get him." The male said, stuttering a little. "I'm Blake's f-father..there is something going on and he-he needs to come home." The panic was clear in the male's voice

Karlie froze instantly. He knew that voice. It was the one voice he could never forget. ". . Jamie.?" He muttered as his hands suddenly began shaking. "I-" He went silent for a moment. "Cherii will drop him off now." He hung up immediately, handing the phone back to his daughter. God fucking dammit. He gritted his teeth, motioning for her to leave.

// CHERII POV //

Cherii took the phone while her father gave her a look. *"He needs to go home. Now."* he sighed, looking back down at his book. She gave a small nod and walked back out into the living room, setting the phone down where she'd found it. She leaned over Blake for a moment before booping his nose. *"Hubae! Wake uppppp!"* She smiled, trying to get him to wake up without having to touch him.

Blake slowly got up and sighed after a moment he slowly stood up at got his phone. He saw all the calls and texts from his father. A look of worry instantly flashed over his face, he knew what happened when his dad called liked this. His father suffered from Bipolar Depression and different Anxiety disorders.. So when he called like this...it meant his anxiety was bad.

Cherii saw the panicked look on his face, and knew that it was serious. *"I'll wash your shirt and bring it to school tomorrow. Let's just go."* She told him, already grabbing her keys by the door.
He gave her his adress and they began driving. She tried to ignore the tension in the air, but it was starting to get to her. *"Hubae, is everything okay?"* She finally asked, only a few minutes away from his house now.

She went silent at that, speeding up a little. She knew what it was like to have anxiety, and she'd had depression for a bit of her life. She could only imagine that bipolar depression would be worse, but she'd never actually looked into it before. She tried to keep quiet, but she was struggling a little right now. *"Your Korean is sounding good."* She mumbled, clutching at the steering wheel.

Cherii had never really been good when it came to social situations, but she tried her best. She reached over and put her hand on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him, though she genuinely had no idea how that stuff worked.
They soon pulled into the driveway, and Blake still seemed hesitant to get out. *"Do you want me to wait out here for a minute? You can go check on him, and then I'll leave once I know everything's okay."* She suggested, looking over at him once she was parked.

Blake looked at her and nodded slowly. After a moment he got into the house, it was a while before he ever came back out. He knew it was gonna be bad but was currently a lot worse. He knew had to help his dad but days like this were hard.
