//James POV// "Uh....your car....my car isnt...decent..." He said, seeming embarrassed at that fact. He followed Karlie walking behind him, his arms crossed over his chest nervously. James kept his gaze down but after a moment he did look up. He kinda chuckled at the thought of karaoke. |

Karlie noticed James lagging behind, and paused to wait up for him just out of old habit. They got into the same car from all the way back in college, and he couldn't tell if James had noticed. Even though it was old, it still ran just fine, so he never got rid of it. Once they were both buckled, he started it up and began heading to the club just a few miles away. // CHERII // She was shaken awake by a small girl who appeared to be around her age. "어이, 일어나. 곤경에 빠지기 전에!"(Hey, wake up. Before you get into trouble!) The girl shook her again, seeming concerned. Cherii hadn't known there were any other Korean students, but this girl was very clearly native. "어- 미안!"(Uh- Sorry!) She stammered, still seeming surprised. The girl nodded and walked into the office, seeming to be busy. She glanced up at Blake, whose head was sitting on top of hers. "Oppa! Wake up!" She tried using English again, smiling a little at her progress so far. |

//Blake's POV// Blake let out a noise of protest, staying against her. He was so tired and he felt so comfortable and calm against Cherri. After a moment though he did open his eyes and look at the girl in front of them. He tensed a little, expecting the girl to make fun of them or make harsh comments. |

". . . Caleb and I got married. We've been in Korea for years, and just moved back so that Cherii could get a better education." He admitted, hating the way it sounded when he said that he'd married Caleb. "I'm divorcing him soon. He's become abusive, and I don't think I ever loved him." He sighed, pulling out his pills from the glove box and taking two. Even just talking about Caleb stressed him out, and he was starting to get a headache. "Can we.. talk about something else? Please.?" He asked, feeling like shit already. // CHERII // She looked up at the girl, who was still hovering above them. *"Do you need anything else?"* She asked, not sure if the girl spoke English as well as Korean. *"I uh- I actually wanted to talk to you."* She sighed, seeming somewhat awkward. Cherii was confused, but stood up anyways. |

//Blake POV// He sighed not sure what was being said and he slowly stood up as well. He seemed on edge and he stayed leaned against the wall for support. His torso area was starting to hurt, so was the cuts on his face. Though that didn't matter, not right now. |

Karlie laughed a little, finding it strange that James was being optimistic for once. "I'm glad something good came out of it. I'm actually a professional dance instructor. I do pointe, pop, and reggae." He smiled, proud to say that this was his job. It'd been his dream since he was a kid, so being able to say that he achieved it was a huge accomplishment. // CHERII // She followed the girl a little ways away, just so that their conversation could be at least a little private. *"So what did you want to talk about?"* She asked, yawning. *"I'm sorry if this is weird, but I'm another transfer student from Korea. I heard about. . the rumors, and I just wanted to see if you maybe wanted to hang out some time? I don't really have that many friends either, so I just-"* She cut herself off, seeming rather awkward. *"As in. . friends?"* Cherii perked up a bit, sounding confused. *"I mean, I guess? I don't know. I'm pretty awkward, and I just thought that we'd have a few things in common since we both stand out a bit. . "* She responded, suddenly seeming to realise something. *"I'm so sorry! My name is Nari!"* She bowed, smiling nervously. *"Hello, Nari! My name is Cherii, and I'd love to be your friend!"* Cherii smiled warmly, bowing in return. No clue what that was for, but I figured she could use some friends XD )) |

//Blakes pov// He watched the interaction and after a moment he figured he needed to leave. He yawned a little as he moved and walked away. He was tired and wanted to go home, so he decided Cherri had a friend so she would be fine |

He laughed a little, and then looked over at James for a moment. "Oh really? What do you do?" He asked, sounding genuinely curious. He hadn't seen James in years, so he wanted to catch up on a few things. // CHERII // *"Uh- Okay! I wasn't really expecting that to be honest. I have to go now, but I'll see you tomorrow?"* Nari smiled, seeming a bit busy. *"Sure thing! See you later, unnie!"* She smiled, turning around to go back to Blake. When she saw he was leaving, she ran up to him and grabbed his hand to get his attention. *"Where are you going?"* She asked, not really wanting to be left alone. |

Karlie went silent for a moment, knowing James was somewhat embarrassed. "You know, it's really impressive that you're managing all of that." He looked back to the road, trying not to make James feel weird about it. // CHERII // Cherii thought for a moment before getting an idea. *"I can drive you if you want? You seem pretty tired."* She suggested, letting go of his hand after a moment. Sooooo- I got distracted and rabbit holed, so I now know that the sun is going to explode in 5 billion years. :3 )) |
