I do roleplays on Discord as well as on here, I'm apart of a vampire one there but the host is using canon characters while we're all using OCs. It's awkward. Not sure how well a vampire roleplay would do here because vampires can be gruesome.

Yeahh, that's why I usually use OCs unless someone wants to rp something from a show like stranger things. But its definitely awkward when someone uses Canon characters. You're just sitting there like: huh??

mmm ik there was one that was fairly oh look at that thats kinda gross but was never told off, just died out before it started. there's always ways to keep things vague and all, don't really need graphic descriptions and if people really need you can always pm! i'd be willing to try a smaller one on discord but also worry with posting too soon. enter key posting it in discord would be annoying, i use it a lot lmao

and yeah, i never use canon characters lmao, awkward bc i want to use their show personality but also i can hardly ever get it right so just throws things off. easier to use your ocs

LMFAOO, but yeah. Whenever I play a canon oc it's exactly like Phrog said, I try to get the personality right, but it ends up not working at all
