Forgotten Ties is a 13+ semi-literate roleplay server that is based off of the Warriors books by Erin Hunter. In this alternate universe, the Clans have made it to the Lake, but things have been strange ever since. At first the Dark Forest had hold of the WindClan leader, Goosestar, and was whispering in his ear that the other Clans were turning their backs on StarClan. This eventually was disproved by RiverClan and ThunderClan aiding WindClan in restoring the Moonpool to its original state. But the Dark Forest hasn't given up their grip on the living yet...

The original four Clans that arrived at the Lake Territories are here, with channels from the original territories plus a few extras:

RiverClan: Skill & Grace
WindClan: Strength & Speed

Q. What species can I play?
A. Domestic cats!

Q. Can I be a serval/bobcat/lynx?
A. No, the biggest your cats cat be is the largest of the domestic cats. So Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat, and Savannah Cat.

Q. Can my character have heterochromia (two different color eyes)?
A. Yes!

Q. Can my character be albino?
A. Yes!

Q. Can my character have piercings?
A. I'd really rather they don't!

Q. Can I use real life images to represent my character?
A. I prefer drawn images but real life photos work too! Just make sure they're creative commons and you have permission to use them. And with artwork, even if it's your own, you MUST credit it in your bio.

Q. How many character slots do I have?
A. Unlimited!

Q. How long ago did the Clans move to the Lake Territories?
A. They arrived in Moon 1 (leaf bare) and it is now Moon 7 (greenleaf). See more in the timeline channel.

Q. Why did the Clans leave their old territory?
A. Twolegs began tearing up the territory for new housing.

Q. Will SkyClan be added?
A. Perhaps in the future!

Q. Can I use the prefixes Thunder, Shadow, River, Wind, and Moon?
A. Yes! If you're ever unsure of whether or not a prefix would be allowed, feel free to ask in the questions channel.

Q. How do I make my own Clan/Group?
A. You need at least 3 different members to be part of it for it to start! Then you contact Staff in group-creation. You'll need to have some ideas of what you want their territory to be like and it will be beyond the map provided.

Q. Why do you have both Tupperbox and PluralKit?
A. Tupperbox is for roleplay, PluralKit is for systems.

Q. Do I have to use Google Docs?
A. No, though it is preferred. Remember that it does not share your email with other people, just the content of the document.

We are starting our first gathering today! It will last from now until August 6th EST. With RiverClan not having a deputy and Goosestar having the Dark Forest whisper in his ear, what things will happen during this gathering?

Our plot is slowly moving forward. Currently:

The WindClan leader, Goosestar, is being talked to by "StarClan." They have said the other Clans are turning their backs on their warrior ancestors. Goosestar announced at the Gathering that he would take any measures necessary to get rid of cats that would dare do such a thing. This left the other Clans ruffled.

After the Gathering, Goosestar dreamed again. This time "StarClan" told him that ThunderClan had left rotting prey on their border. Sure enough, one of them had, which started a fight between Goosestar and ThunderClan's deputy Adderpelt. The real StarClan sent a storm to stop the fight, with each side blaming the other for StarClan intervening. The reality, however, is that both sides were in the wrong.

Will there be a war between ThunderClan and WindClan? Or will things smooth over?

The Moonpool has been found all but dry by ThunderClan! Adderstar feels that WindClan have something to do with it, but how could any cat have done this?

If anyone bothered to look up before the chaos started, they might've noticed the stars fading into the night, as if slowly being covered by a blanket.

The darkness spread faster upon Snailswirl's loss of sanity, as if frantically attempting to pull the curtains shut.

Eventually... the shadows reached the moon.

Their surroundings grew darker and darker, until everything was pitch black.

Things felt oddly... so much colder.

A gentle, yet eerie voice whispered in the heads of many...

It was high-pitched, as if a kit were speaking.

"We can help you find your missing friends and family.  But we cannot be seen by the stars above.  Else they would take you too.

We cannot hide or keep them alive for longer.  We cannot feed or shelter them from the cold.  The light is burning us the longer we stay above.

Please... if you wish to know the truth of it all, or at least... collect your clanmates... please come to the moonpool in the next gathering.  StarClan must not know.

StarClan is not entirely evil.
But they've gone too far this time.

We cannot keep StarClan's view blind for any longer.  Please do not speak of this to the ghosts that may approach you.  We cannot risk being found out and exterminated.

Please..."

The voice fades, and light returns to the island.
