I've been working on some OCs and I'm looking to get some artwork of them! And what's better than a contest with some juicy rewards?
Before I get into the rewards, let me go through the rules, regulations, and things I generally like:
First and foremost! No tracing, stealing, copying, etc. of any kind will be tolerated. Anyone caught submitting artwork that meets the before mentioned criteria will be blocked, removed from the contest entirely, and reported to the mods.
Absolutely no ship artwork unless the ship is directly between two of my OCs and the ship is canon for them.
My characters are all quite old, so feel free to draw them doing whatever, except for NSFW. Slight NSFW is fine, however I'm not looking for... anything more than that. Let's just put it that way. (Slight is equivalent to cuddling, kiss on the cheek, etc.)
I absolutely love gore, I would love as much gore as possible, but keep Wolvden's TOS in mind. The more gore the better, however I do not want guts flying everywhere, beheaded corpse's, etc.
Following the before mentioned criteria, I also love fighting/action scenes. I'd prefer this type of scene over romantic/soft scenes. I also love comedic scenes as well, so feel free to experiment with that!
Absolutely no additives for my OCs. I created them, and I would like their art to follow their descriptions as best as possible. With this being said, the more accessories you add, the better... (By accessories, I mean one's they already have, not new one's you'd like to make and add to them.) Take that as you will
Free To Use Bases and YCHs are allowed, however you must provide proof of them being free to use. In the same regard, Paid To Use Bases and YCHs are also allowed. You must provide proof of ownership over the base/YCH.
All art styles are welcome, however I will say that fully rendered pieces that are scenes or full bodies will have a better chance at placing/winning. Regardless, anything is accepted. From doodles, to headshots, to fullbodies, to complete scenes, or anything else.
Since all artwork will be of my OCs, I will have ownership over any art submitted for this contest. Even if your artwork doesn't place, I still have ownership. With that being said, all watermarks must be removed, however not your signature. Please, take credit for your work and keep your signature. Even though I do have ownership, you are more than welcome to use any artwork you created for this contest as examples in art shops. I only ask that you make it known that the character is mine.
All entries should be submitted below, as well as a full quality link of the artwork messaged to me or emailed to me. If you would prefer email, I will provide that upon request.
I have a lot of Humanoid OCs, and I will primarily be wanting art of them. Please do not turn them into other animals, keep them in their original form. In the same respect, I will be wanting art of some of my Wolvden wolves, please do not turn them into other animals (even Humans).

First Place: $100 USD or 500 GC Second Place: $75 USD or 400 GC Third Place: 300 GC Fourth Place: 200 GC Fifth Place: 100 GC
I'm also having participation prizes! These prizes you earn once, and it's based off of the first piece of artwork you submit. Participation prizes are also based on quality. If you, for example, submit a scene as your first entry, but it's simplistic linework, has no shading, colouring, etc. That would fall under doodle.
Doodle: 2 GC Headshot or Bust: 4 GC Full Body: 6 GC Reference Sheet: 8 GC Scene: 10 GC Animation: 10-20 GC (Heavily relies on quality, length, and what/who you make the animation of)
Lastly, I'm also having entry prizes! For every 10 entries, I will randomly give out 5 GC to one of the most recent 10 entries. The only time I won't draw an entry prize, is if someone has taken up close to half the entries. Remember, this is for all the artists, so please don't be greedy.
Entries are unlimited, however each prize is going to be unlocked via tier system to ensure that I will make my money's worth. I don't mean to sound harsh or rude, but the grand total of the prizes alone is .... *drum roll* ... $175 USD and 600 GC or 1500 GC. That also doesn't include the participation prizes or the entry prizes as well. There's also a very good chance it'll be hard for me to just pick five winners. So don't be surprised if you find a little sum sum in your "giftbox" from me. The surprises for this range, but I can guarantee they're worth it.
First Place is unlocked at: 5 unique entries Second Place is unlocked at: 10 unique entries Third Place is unlocked at: 15 unique entries Fourth Place is unlocked at: 20 unique entries. Fifth Place is unlocked at: 25 unique entries.
Unique entries are per person essentially. So the fifth tier will unlock when 25 separate artists have submitted entries. The contest will end three months after it's start date. If I deem it necessary, I will elongate it. If I don't get enough entries for all the tiers, I will remove that tier (Ex: I get 20 unique entries, I remove the fifth tier, pick 4 winners, and send out rewards). I would most likely only elongate it, if there are under 15 unique entries. Under no circumstances will any artist not receive proper compensation for their work.

Something I Would Extra Love:
I am an avid anime fan, and Shi and Arisu are characters for a manga I'm working on. If you're able to or are wanting to try, I would love Manga Panel styled art of Shi and Arisu. In the same respect, I would love Shi fighting Wedda in the same style. This isn't necessary or required, but it is something I've been wanting for quite some time.
As one could guess, I would also love animations. Now, I know animations take a lot of time and are extremely difficult. If you decide you want to tackle this, I'd love an animation of Shi, Wedda, or Hemlock. If you choose to do this, message me. I would be willing to extend the time duration of the contest if you need more time to complete this. This will be viable as long as you provide proof of WIPs within a timely manner. If not, I will not extend the length of the contest. I also have specific ideas for this, however it also allows room for artistic freedom. So please discuss with me about the animation before jumping right into it. Animation also would not be limited to one artist. Every single artist is allowed to submit animations as artwork, I just don't want everything to be animations.
Other:
I don't mind providing proof of the GC, however I will not be providing how much I have in my bank account for USD. I apologize, but that's breaching my security a bit too much. Keep in mind, I will only buy GC as the tiers unlock as well. I don't want to go ahead and buy 1500 GC only for the first three tiers to get unlocked and for the first and second place winners to pick USD. I hope you can understand my logic and thought process behind this.
Please keep in mind, that I do reserve the right to cancel the contest if it doesn't reach the goal of 15 unique entries. If that's the case, participation and entry prizes will still be sent out, art submitted will still be owned by me, but I will not submit placements. This is a risk you're willing to accept knowingly. However, I want to see this contest succeed, so there is a 99.9% chance I'll elongate it for as long as I find possible before canceling. I hope you understand my logic behind this.
