She walked into her room and closed the door behind her, trying her best not to have a mental breakdown. Why do I know that? I shouldn't know that. Was her memory not wiped? Why can she remember the name? Why can I remember that name? FUUUUUCK- She screamed internally but it didn't make her feel much better. After she got herself together again, she pulled out a pair of sweatpants and a baggy T-Shirt from her closet. The pants were black, and the shirt was white, and that for some reason felt . . off. She looked at all the objects in her closet, scanning over each item individually. Everything was either black, white, or some odd shade of pink. That. . didn't feel right, and she knew it. It had never felt completely normal, but she always convinced herself it was just her nerves. "That's not me." She muttered before turning around and walking back into the living room |

She tilted her head a little as she looked at Kaia as she entered the room. She stared at the clothes for a moment. She looked down at her own medical scrubs. She frowned a little and stared at the clothes. After a while she slowly got up and moved to change right there, not thinking anything was wrong with it. |

Kaia just sighed and turned around, waiting for her to finish. She hadn't been expecting it, but she was also out of willpower to care. "For future reference, people don't usually change in front of each other." She told her, checking her phone to distract herself. The lab was no longer on lockdown, and no one seemed to have noticed she was missing. Good. She thought, trying to figure out what to do next. She says she's a test subject, but we don't do live testing. Unless they were lying- Of course they were lying, dammit. This has to have something to do with those faulty nanos, but what is it? Fuck- I need some coffee. She walked into the kitchen and poured a cup, realising that today was going to suck. A lot. |

Eva finished changing and she returned back to the floor. She fiddled with the clothes a little not sure if she found them uncomfortable or comfortable. Her tail stuck out from the waistband of the pants, making them pull down a little but the shirt covered that part. After a minute she finally gave in and took the sandwich eating it pretty quickly. |

Kaia turned back to Eva and tilted her head a little bit, seeming confused. She was fascinated by the girl's features, but she didn't want to come off as rude or anything. "As much as I'd love to just go chill out for a while, we need to talk about a few things." She walked over and sat on the sofa, not questioning why Eva had chosen to sit on the floor. "How far back can you remember? Do you know about 'The Reset'? Do you remember anything about your past?" Were the first three questions she asked, though they were a bit redundant. |

Eva flicked her ears a little, "I remember some of it. They didn't really reset us...only the people who they thought were normal....the people in the lab...we are just treated like animals...after a while... You soon start acting like one." She said. It was true, after a long while of being treated as a dumb animal...you start to become one. |

For some reason, I really just wasn't expecting that XD )) Kaia was shocked to hear that, but now wasn't the time for emotions. This girl had memories from pre-reboot, and that's what mattered most. "I don't think you were fully reset, but you were rebooted." She muttered, mostly to herself. Sixteen. ". . You can't remember before you turned sixteen, can you.?" She asked, to which she responded with a small shake of her head. "Alright. I think I've gotten this figured out, at least partially." Kaia leaned back against the sofa, trying to sum this up in a way that made sense. "You've been locked away for a while, so you probably don't know about this. Everyone was rebooted six years ago, but the codes weren't completely effective the first time. They tested everyone for basic intelligence and physical build, and then came the 'Aftershock Treatment'. That's what fully erased the rest of our memories, but I'm assuming that because you didn't pass the tests, they didn't fully reset you. That means you'll probably have memory fragments starting at your fourteenth birthday." Why do you know that? "They told us they were using the dummies, though, so why did they separate you?" She was talking to herself, but it definitely sounded like it was a genuine question. "What were they doing to you in there?" She asked, looking back to the girl. |

"They are testing on us....they wanted to make things better for all of the world.. But they needed people tot eat them on, so they chose the ones who were mentally.... Or physically impaired... But it didn't turn at well...as you can tell." She made a motion towards herself. "W-we are considered freaks...that's why we are locked away....they want the world to be perfect so first...they have to get rid of the freaks." |
