Sorry lol- Viv wanted me to take out the trash. Imma help her with dishes in a bit too ))

"Eva, take a breath. They don't know you're here, but I think they know about my memories." She told her, laying the mattress back down. "If we run, then we'll be confirming their suspicions. I'm innocent until proven guilty, so I think it would be best if we just stay put and lay low. I'll keep up my act at work, and you'll stay here and make everyone think you went off the grid." She tried to sound confident, but even she knew that wasn't the brightest plan. If the government were to find out about either of them, they'd both be fucked. This would be risky to try, but she had to do something.

Kaia raised an eyebrow, seeming confused. "Kaia, you weren't made by the white coats. Your physical build is incredible, and you don't seem stupid to me. They failed you for a different reason. Think, is there anything else that might have told them you're unfit for treatment? Anything at all? It could be anxiety, depression, eating disorders. A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G." She tried to get Eva to think, but she worried that those memories might have been erased during the first round of treatment.

Something clicked for Kaia when Eva said that, and one of the images became much clearer. Eva had been attacking one of the white coats trying to. . I don't know what. She was angry, and Kaia had been there. Eva wasn't a wolf yet in this image, which was surprising. "Y-You-" She started, but trailed off instantly. "Intermittent Explosive Disorder. I've seen that somewhere. . I have to get your file." She mumbled, seeming lost in thought. If I could just get that file, then I'd be able to figure out what happened to her. We knew each other before. We were close. Why are my memories coming back at all? They should've been erased completely. .

Kaia nodded and then sat down on the edge of the bed, still thinking. She'd have to put on an act at work, now, and somehow find a way to get Eva's file. This was a whole bunch of bullshit that she hadn't signed up for, and it was stressing her out. She didn't ask for this, but she'd have to deal with it anyways.

Kaia just shook her head. "They came here specifically. They could have just called me, or checked the ID station, but they didn't. We knew each other pre-reset, and I think they know that. They know that if you're gone, then I probably have something to do with it. Even if you left now, I'd be fucked, so it'd be smarter for you to just stay here and wait until security dies down." She crossed her arms and stared down at the ground, avoiding looking at Eva.
