When Kaia woke up, she was handcuffed to a grey plastic chair, sitting across from a man who was being backed up by several armed guards. "Good morning." "How long was I out?" She asked, sounding pissed. "No need to get hostile, Ms. Sierest." She hated hearing her fake name, but she couldn't let them know she remembered. "It has come to our attention that your memory inhibitors have stopped working." Huh- I stand corrected. "No shit. And my name is Akira Rodriguez, thank you very much." She snapped, seeming like a completely different person. Then again, maybe she was. "Well then, at least we know your frontal lobe hasn't been damaged." He sighed, writing something down on his clipboard. "We need to know just how much you remember." "And I need to know why I remember, but that's not gonna happen, is it?" "You were an asset. Does the number 2891 ring a bell?" He sighed, seeming very nonchalante. 2891. 3487. "I'll take that as a yes. Well, during the first round of memory wipes, it was discovered that many people were resistant to the nanos. They don't work on you. We pulled that group of people aside and declared them 'unfit to join humanity'. We used you all for testing, and that's how 3487 became a wolf hybrid." ". . why am I not a hybrid?" "You were used for a different kind of testing. You were one of the first assets to be used in a successful trial of memory inhibitors. They don't wipe memories, but they can block them. As you've figured out by now, they aren't 100% effective. If the user is triggered by something from their past, it can unravel the whole thing." ". . so what does that have to do with me?" "Well, you've been able to recover all of your memories. It was set off by your friend, but after that, nothing else should have happened. You did this on your own." She took a moment to process that, still seeming pissed. "Luckily for you, we've developed better inhibitors. You won't be 'eliminated', Kaia. You'll be reset again, and given a new identity. We'll wipe your memory from everyone you knew, and then everything will go back to normal. You should be grateful we don't just use you for genetics testing instead." He sighed, handing her the clip board. "Fill out everything you remember." |

Oops XD )) Akira rolled her eyes and threw the clipboard at him, not caring about the men with guns behind him. "Well, then. I guess we'll just reset everything. Transport her to the Cryo-Bay, please." He sounded very calm, but was rubbing the red mark on his forehead. Akira panicked a little, and knew she wasn't going with them if she had anything to say about it. She dislocated her thumb with lightning speed, pulling her hand out of the cuffs and bolting for the door. She swung it open, sprinting down the hallway. She could feel the adrenaline coursing through her veins, and she heard her heart beating. Unfortunately, she just wasn't fast enough. The guards grabbed her, pinning her arms and dragging her off to a horrifyingly familiar room. This was where she was reset for the first time. She kept trying to get away, but they didn't falter. She was strapped back onto the table from last time, and watched as a black serum was loaded into the machine. There's no stopping this now. She knew it was inevitable by now, so she just concentrated on Eva. She thought about all the happy times they'd had together as kids, all the saturday barbecues their families had had together, the time Akira's mom and dad got into a fight, so she went over to Eva's house. She was glad she hadn't promised Eva she'd be right behind her, because now she knew she may never be. Suddenly, her favorite memory flashed through her mind. She and Eva were sitting on the roof of Akira's house, just talking about their futures again. Hah, as if they had a clue. That was when she'd finally confessed that. . I love you, Eva. Lights out. |

*Tissues* You're welcome. )) She woke up in an all white room in a hospital bed, unsure of where she was. She had a massive headache, and reached up to rub her temples. Just then, a nurse walked in. "Oh hello, dear! How are you feeling?" She asked, pressing a button to call a doctor. "Uhm . . alright, I think? W-Where am I?" She asked hesitantly, sitting up. "You're in the hospital, ma'am. You had quite the accident! Fell down the stairs of your house, and hit your head a few times. We did our best, but that scar of yours is here to stay." She sighed, picking up a clipboard. "Tell me, what do you remember?" "I. . nothing. . why can't I remember anything?! W-Who am I?! I can't remember my name-" She began to panic, so the nurse put her hands on her shoulders to calm her down. "It's alright, honey! Like I said, you hit your head! Don't worry, we've got all of your information right here. We'll help you get things in order again." She smiled so sweetly that it almost seemed fake, but she didn't know what else to do other than nod. "Your name is Faith Carlisle. You're twenty one, almost twenty two. Your mother and father live in Ohio, but we can call them if you'd like." She offered, handing 'Faith' the full file on her. "I. . yes, please." Faith sighed, sounding defeated. She spent the next hour or so reading up on herself, just trying to process all of this. She was told she had total amnesia, and may never recover her memories. She still knew about the reset six years ago, but that was just common knowledge rather than a memory. |

HmMMmmMM- She realises that Akira isn't behind her anymore, and tries to figure out where she went? We can say a few months go by if you want, and then they run into each other again while Eva's still in hiding, and while Akira still thinks she suffered amnesia? Feel free to edit or alter! I'll throw in a few scenes of 'Faith' getting used to her new life, too! )) |

Sounds good!)) As Eva bolted from the building. She realized Kaia wasn't behind her anymore. But she couldn't stop running, she ran and ran and ran...until she collapsed. She let everything out, she screamed and shouted and cried her heart out for hours. She would never get Kaia back, the one person who she trust in life, the one who cared for her...she was alone..all over again. |

Faith's mom and dad had just gotten there, and they seemed genuinely worried for her. Little did she know, these people's memories had been altered to think that she was the daughter they received after the reset. Their heads had been filled to the brim with false memories of her so that she would believe it. "Oh, my poor girl! We came as soon as we heard! D-Do you remember us at all?" Her 'mother' was teary eyed, and her 'father' was busy trying to calm her down. "I-I'm sorry. I don't know you." She sighed, staring down at her hands. "You. . can tell me about us if you want to.? They said I won't get my memory back, but. . I want to know who I am." She mumbled, sounding ashamed. "Of course, honey. We've had you since you were fifteen or so, a-and you were always the sweetest girl. Let me think . ." And with that, her fake parents began to fill her own head with their same fake memories. |

As time went on...Eva had lost hope of ever seeing Kaia again... It had been 6 months. Eva had no one she could trust, and she had remained in the woods all this time. She survived off whatever she could...she was filthy and she had grown skinnier. She had barely no way of getting food from someone so she had to resort to stealing. She would steal food whenever she could without being seen and what she stole was barely enough for her to actually live off of. Since her escape, guards would drive around all the time, trying to catch at least a glimpse of her. She had honestly thought they had stopped searching for her. She soon found herself in the city again. She was moving in the shadows, trying to steal herself some food |
