 ))*Astrid thought for a moment, honestly not sure why she was here. She could've just ignored the blood and gone to the library, but she didn't. Why?* "I was on my way to the library, and I saw blood on the ground. I just followed it back here, I guess." *She shrugged, fiddling with her gloves a bit. It made her uncomfortable being back at this circus, but she wanted to make sure Cress was okay before she left.* "So, are you alright? You seemed pretty pissed when you left." *She finally glanced over at him, trying to hide the concern in her eyes. She didn't care about him, but she didn't hate him, and that was enough for her to want him alive. And, y'know, not bashing his head on things.* |

*Cress wasn't sure how to answer the question, he was crazy, he is never truly fine and so he slowly got up and walked over to his dresser then put on a fresh shirt then faced Astrid again* "Nope, which is why Cress will aimlessly walk around" *He stated rather simply then squinted once he heard a knock on the door, the ringleader popes his head in and was about to say something until Cress* "FUCK OFF ITS CRESS' DAY OFF!!" *Pillars of fire emerged around the room, and without saying a mere word the ringleader stepped out, and only then did the fire vanish* "Cress hates people! Wait!" *He jumped up in excitement* "Cress will go to the pet store!" *He said gleefully then ran out the room, only to pop his head back into the room* "You coming pretty lady?" *He tilted his head* |

I feel betrayed. )) *Astrid was genuinely confused, and even a little surprised, but she wasn't about to ask questions. She hesitated, and then gave a small nod. She stood up and followed him out the door, unsure of why the pet store was his first choice.* "Whatcha wanna do there?" *She asked as they walked down the hall. The bitch from earlier was giving her nasty looks, so she casually flipped her off when she passed her. They exited the tent, and she finally felt safe enough to take off her gloves. Ooooor that's what she thought. She quickly realised that she was still with Cress, so she thought it best to just keep them on for now. She still fidgeted with them, but it was more out of habit than being anxious.* |

"Oh you'll see khehehehehe" *Cress rubbed his hands Lorna stereotype villain then cleared his throat and lead Astrid to the nearest pet store with a twisted smile, and without warning he kicked the door open* "Cress has arrived!!" *He yelled out then made his way inside, the staff members immediately turned their attention on him with a somber look* "Great…it's him again" *A young man muttered under his breath then headed over to the back where the reptiles are* "Here, might as well take him at this point.." *The man handed over a young veil chameleon who casually made a dancing motion over to Cress whose eyes lit up with joy* "Can't, Cress has dangerous life" *He states simply as the exotic dragon griped his index finger and curled his tail toward the tip* "Such a good boy~" *Cress purred as he gently stroked the dragon's beard, various bright colors streamed the dragon's body, a sign of happiness* |

*Astrid smiled a little, watching as Cress was just chillin' with a lizard.* "Sooo- You come here to hang out with the animals, huh?" *She laughed a little, but it wasn't directed at him. It was just because she was happy. This was the first time in a long time, actually, that she'd enjoyed spending time with someone else. She glanced over at another section of the store, and wandered towards it.* "Would you mind if I held one?" *She looked up and asked the man who appeared to be running the store. He just shrugged and opened the unit, picking up one of the kittens and handing it to her. Cats were her favorite animals, so this was a fun experience for her. She kept whispering softly to the floof ball, touching its nose to hers.* "Hey, babyyy- So sweet." *She smiled warmly, giving the lil guy some scratches. He seemed sleepy, and started purring while he sat in her hand.* "He's so littleee!" *She laughed a bit, wondering how old he was.* |

*Cress leaned a bit towards the kitten and used his free hand to gently scratch behind their ear with a soft smile, the chameleon made his way up to the top of Cress's head, giving him the freedom massage the kitten's neck with both hands then ran one down the spine, enhancing their purring to a louder one* "So you have a reason for chossing a little tabby?" *He tilted his head with a soft smile as he looked at Astrid* |

"I've always loved tabbies. They're erratic, their patterns don't make any sense, and they're the most fun out of all cats. They don't give two shits about what people think, and it's awesome. Besides, this little brat wouldn't stop meowing." *She chuckled a bit as he stretched out, spreading his lil toe beans.* "Why'd you choose him?" *She glanced up at the lizard that seemed quite content on Cress' head. She just hoped he wouldn't accidentally set his hair on fire again.* |

*Cress's face dropped as he looked down slightly, the chameleon decided to show off his bearded a little then made his way down to the right shoulder, examining Astrid with one eye* "Ara had a chameleon named Eros…" *Cress answered in a long, somber sigh then gently picked the chameleon up and placed him back into his little habitat files with plastic leaves* "Guess Cress has more experience because of that…" *He watched the chameleon a while longer then was tapped on the shoulder by a little girl* "Oh mister are you Cress?" *Her big, deep brown eyes looking at him with pure curiosity and adoration* |

"Oh mister, are you Cress?" *A little girl with deep brown eyes and blonde curly hair asked him, seeming incredibly curious. Astrid liked kids, but she also knew that Cress might not want to talk to fans on his day off. He seemed pretty pissed about it earlier, so she figured it would be best to just send the girl on her way.* "Salut, petite. Il est ici por les animaux. Il ne veut pas parle à présent, s'il vous plaît." (Hey, baby. He's here for the animals. He doesn't want to talk right now, please.) *She spoke French just to get the kid to leave, but then she said something that surprised Astrid.* "Ooh- Toi parle Francais? Il est Cress? Cress de le cirque?" (Ooh- You speak French? Is he Cress? Cress from the circus?) "Oui, mais il est très ennuyeux." (Yes, but he's veeery annoying.) *She replied with a smile, stunned by the fact that the kid could speak French. She still seemed curious, but decided that they apparently weren't worth her time anymore.* "Je ne pense q'il est ennuyeux, mais parce que toi dit."(I don't think he's boring, but if you say so.) *The kid shrugged, turning and running back to her mom to ask about the puppies.* Sorry lol- Forgot you might not speak French, so I had to go back and add subtitles XD )) |

*Cress was in the middle of pulling out a deck of cards for some tricks, but when he turned around his charming smile vanished as he witnessed the girl ran off, his heart sank, Today is not Cress' day, first Cress freaked out and now the girl ran off!, with a snap the cards turned into smoke and he looked at Astrid* "The two of you were speaking French, what did she say?" *He then griped his head* "S-she thought Cress was boring didn't she?!" +He started to pant a little as his anxiety started to build up to the point that he placed a hand over his stomach and threw up an icy flame that evaporated with a stinging hiss, after a moment he stood up straight and took some deep breathes* |
