It was obviously a bad time, but she didn't seem to notice. So what if they had just caused the deaths of two people?* |

All Cress brings is pain, death and insanity, he clearly makes you go a little crazy yourself" *He scanned her face, his eyes were still tender* "So why stay around Cress if he makes your eyes flicker with insanity such as his? Your clearly hiding something, and Cress will never ask, but…sooner or later the truth will reveal itself and when it does.." *He paused* "….we'll both be screwed" |

". . Cress isn't the one who makes her crazy." *Her tone was cold, and she spoke in second person for once, still not looking back at him. After a moment, she shook her head and pulled her gloves up a little.* "Come on- I live a few blocks from here." *She sighed, glancing down at him and gesturing for him to follow. She didn't really need an escort, but she enjoyed his company. They walked for a while before she could finally see her little one story ranch sitting off in the distance. She didn't have any neighbors for at least a mile, so she never worried about people seeing or hearing how she acted when she was alone.* "This is my stop~" *She smiled, seeming much happier than before. It was almost as if her moods completely switched.* "I'll call you tomorrow morning, and we'll find something fun to do, okay?" *She looked over at him with a calm expression, not seeming to remember, not care about the events of before.* |

"Oooh Cress would definitely love living at a place like this" *He beamed, when Astrid spoke in third before a bit earlier he didn't question it, showing that he meant every word he said previously* "Definitely better living here Cress thinks than a tiny room at the circus or in a cage…" *His voice dropped as he looked down, then he looked up at Astrid* "Bye…" *He said softly before turning around to head back towards the circus, and he made sure to remind himself how fortunate he was to have at least a room to live in, unlike before where he was stuck in a cage like an animal* |

"I'm in controlll~" *She grinned, seeming to talk to herself. She laughed lowly for a moment before suddenly punching the mirror with such a force that it shattered in an instant. She was smiling wildly with a tired look in her eyes, not even noticing the glass that had punctured her glove. She admired herself in the shattered mirror for a minute or so before she just turned around, threw her torn glove in the garbage can, and sat down on her bed. She fell asleep in only a few minutes, not seeming bothered by her nightmares.* // WOOOOOOSH ( = Timeskip) // *Astrid sat up the next morning and glanced around the room, a look of annoyance developing on her face.* "Dammit. That's the third time this week." *She grumbled to herself, seeing the broken glass on the floor. She just stepped around it and headed over to her closet, throwing on a pair of black leggings and a purple cropped tank top. She put a jean jacket over that, and then headed out. While she walked, she called Cress.* |

"Well, yeah? I told you I would, didn't I?" *She smiled a little, even though he couldn't see her.* "How'd you sleep? You still sound tired. Ah shit- Did I wake you? Sorry!" *She apologized, hopping from plank to plank on an old railroad track she liked to follow to get to town some mornings. It was nice out today, so she figured she might as well take the scenic route.* "I really didn't mean to- I just wake up early sometimes." *She sighed, sounding guilty. She really hadn't meant to, but some part of her forgot that not everyone wakes up as early as she does. The voice had been oddly quiet this morning, but she wasn't about to complain. Maybe she got her fill or torture last night.? She wondered silently, thinking about her memory gap in between the time Cress left, and the time she woke up.* |

*His trailed off a bit as he ran over to his dresser and threw out a black shirt with gray pants, and started to strip down, but made sure to place the phone on his vanity with the speaker on first* "So uh…w-what are you thinking abou-" "Aaaaaaawwwwww Cress is talking on the phone like a normal person!" *Medusa teased as she walked in and scanned Cress' body with a smirk* "M-Medusa?! GET OUT!!!! CRESS IS PANTLESS!!!!! DO YOU HAVE NO SENSE OF PRIVACY?!!!!!" *Cress screamed out, but was met with the snake charmer's laughter* "My my I must admit you have a nice siz-" *SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP" *He barked then pushed Medusa out and got dressed as quickly he could, blushing with sheer embarrassment knowing well that Astrid heard everything* |

*Astrid couldn't help but laugh at that. She paused on the rails, laughing hysterically. After a few minutes, she finally collected herself and began speaking again.* "Sooo~ Pantsless, huh?" *She smirked, obviously just teasing. She could practically feel his embarrassment radiating from the screen, so she quickly changed the subject.* "Sorryyy- Couldn't help myself!" *She shrugged, still laughing a little.* "Is there anything you were wanting to do today? We couuuuuuld go back to the pet store, go get some ice cream, see a movie, go to the park, whatever you want." *She waited for a moment, and suddenly got an idea.* "Wait- I've never seen your show before. At least not as a viewer- Would you want to show me a few tricks?" *She asked, remembering how happy it had made him to be able to do his magic for the girl back in the shop. She had to admit, she was fascinated by it, too.* |

*Cress was fully dressed and still blushing, but this time at the fact she wanted to see one of his tricks, and all the things she listed out on what they could do* "Before Cress says anything, he is now dressed!" *He quickly snapped* "And uh…welll……Cress has work tomorrow…is expected to do a lot of stunts, should he do anything today, he might be too tired for tomorrow.." *He looked down, last night was taking its toll, he felt great letting the stress out but it also drained him a little* "Cress isn't really used to going out…" *He added while rubbing the back of his neck* |
