*Astrid shook him off while he was distracted by the sudden flames, and began running towards the source. She saw Cress being pulled in different directions, and she had no idea what was happening. Ara hadn't explained what this place was, why anyone was here, or what Cress had to do with all of this. To top it off, Syren and Ara were having a screaming match in the middle of the goddamn room. She ran up to the platform, but saw that Cress couldn't even keep his eyes open.* "Shit-" *She mumbled, walking over to Ara and Syren, seeming beyond pissed.* "Ara, get your shit together and stop screaming at the witch!" *She snapped, suddenly turning to Syren.* "And YOU- What the hell are you doing to him?! What even is all of this?!" *She clenched her hands into fists, fighting against the urge to just let Aster out. Everyone in the room would end up dead, but right now, that seemed like a small price to pay. It would also mean she wouldn't have to keep looking at this bitch, soooo-* |

"Tell her up you told me, now!" *Then turned to Astrid* "I'm getting Cress the fuck out of here" *She ran over to Cress, meanwhile Syren slowly got up, rubbing her face then looked at Astrid* "We're having a gathering of those within Hell Circle, the elders cover our fundings for training regarding our powers, how to control them properly" *She squinted as she noticed Ara carrying Cress out, the flames died down and everyone ran outside, leaving her alone with Astrid* "Ara and I were forced to show off our powers through a conjoined project, now Ara always went off about how Cress is a living creature" *Syren rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms* "But I brought him here to show him off and take credit for his existence since Ara won't! I mean you understand right? It was such a pain finding the right blood concoctions, fire demon to be exact, and now I'm being punished for wanting to show him off!" *She stomped in annoyance* "All Cress is, is a stupid, annoying, worthless tool, and here Ara thinks of him as a living creature..stupid right? Cress can't even speak normally or control his powers!" |

"Oh, I see." *She smiled, seeming genuinely fine.* "So you want to die? Is that it?" *She tilted her head a little, taking a step towards the woman.* "What the hell makes you think I'd understand?! I clearly don't, so explain it to me! Go ahead, I'm waiting!" *She snapped, practically fuming.* "He is a human being, you selfish, entitled, grown child! He is not a tool, and the way he speaks doesn't fucking matter! Did you know that I'm just like him?! No? Isn't that funny! Well guess what, I was born this way! There is absolutely nothing wrong with him, his powers, or his mannerisms! The only tool here is you, dammit!" *She shouted, pausing to take a breath before she snapped.* "What the hell is wrong with you? You suck him through some freaky portal thing, chain him up here, and then throw a tantrum when you don't get your way. Then, I hear from some perverted vampire that you're looking for me- I mean, what's that about?!" *Astrid clearly had no idea what kind of magic this woman possessed, but probably wouldn't care even if she did know. She was just trying to buy Cress and Ara enough time to put some distance in between him and Syren.* |

*Syren only raised a brow at what Astrid was saying, then a twisted smile formed* "Waaaait so you are Astrid??" *Her eyes lit up and without a mere gesture, blood started to seep out Astrid's pores and formed a small bubble, Syren examined the bubble closely and stuck a finger in it, then licked her finger, a visible shiver ran up her spine* "I must have more, I must study you…more closely…" *Syren smirked, which faded the moment she spotted Ara holding Cress in the distance, it was clear that Ara was the only person able to set her in her place, and so she summoned a wall of blood which vanished shortly after, along with her* "You..probably still hate me but…" *Ara made her way back to Astrid, she held Cress in a close, protective manner, with soft eyes* "I'm sorry you got mixed up in all of this, and I know you think of me as the bad guy or whatever and I'm fine with that, I'm just happy that Cress is still breathing at this point" *A tear ran down her cheek, which she wiped off on her shoulder then took a second to compose herself* "Can..can I leave him with you? It's clear that everyone else uses his powers for a quick buck and…well…he seems fond of you" *She smiled a little as Cress shifted and turned so his back was facing Astrid, he curled up for warmth, making it a bit harder for Ara to hold him yet she seemed relieved that he was moving more then anything* "I'll help with everything, like fire proofing the place, anything! I just don't want him to be chained up again…and my housing situation isn't idle" *Ara sounded genuinely concerned regarding Cress' health, in fact, she seemed like a completely different person at this point, he held Cress in a bridle manner and eyed him every second, whenever he shifted, even slightly, Ara would immediately look Cress over to ensure she held him properly and he was safe* |

"The fuck?!" *She uttered, watching as the woman suddenly vanished. What just happened.? Don't look at us- We've got no clue. She listened to Ara going on her little rant, trying to humor her through the end of her sentence.* "I told you before, I'm not leaving him with you or that Syren bitch. If you can give us a ride back to my place, I can take over from there. I live pretty far from other people, so I doubt anyone would know where he was. Don't bother with fire-proofing the place, I had it done years ago after an incident." *She sighed, walking up to him to make sure he was alright. He looked just the same as he always had, but she knew that Syren had done something to him. It was probably just blood loss, but she was still scared for him.* ". . I don't hate you. *Ara hated the idea of leaving Cress, it seemed that she couldn't trust anyone, but she had no choice, she was stuck in an entire loop of murder, necromancy and betrayal, even she couldn't believe everything that happened and how quickly things escalated, when Astrid went over to look Cress over, Ara quickly turned around and glanced over her shoulder, she was clearly protective over Cress* "I don't know where you live" *She finally spoke* "C-Cress feels like shit…." *Cress mumble very softly to himself as he wrapped his arms around Ara's neck before passing out once more* |

*Astrid raised an eyebrow, clearly already knowing that.* "So I'll drive. You can't drive with him clinging to you anyways." *She sighed, pulling out her phone and checking the time.* "What's the deal with that Syren lady? She said something about my blood." *Astrid walked towards the exit, glancing back at Ara and Cress while she spoke. She just wanted to get Cress home and away from all the creeps here, but she was still curious about the woman who had started all of this. She'd never heard of blood sorcerers on that level before, so she had been a little surprised.* |

*Ara followed Astrid out* "Syren is simply someone who never grew out of their teen years" *She rolled her eyes in annoyance, she knew that Astrid had no clue of anything going on and was wondering what the simplest way to describe it would be, but even that would be lengthy, she peered down at Cress as she entered the vehicle* "Long story short she is someone who wasn't born into a magic bloodline, she had a very dull, normal life and study the forbidden arts of blood magic, it's very ancient and complex, Syren became addicted with the craft and honestly…" *Ara paused for a moment* "It really is interesting, combining different blood mixtures to get different results but point is, she wants to have her hands on any blood possible, and since she knows what your capible of…" *Ara's voice dropped and sighed somberly, she held Cress tightly* "She will do whatever she can to drain you of every once of blood possible" "…and Cypress…." *Cress mumbled, he was barely conscious so he kept his eyes shut and relaxed his body, allowing himself to recover while hearing what Ara was saying, his face was pale and his body shook a little* "Cypress?" *Ara raised a brow, thinking Cypress was a completely different person* "Uggghh…..just…." *Cress groaned as he started to shift a little* "Think…Syren's time of month…" *He laughed a little at his inside joke, Ara frowned then looked at Astrid* "I think he'll be fi-" "Cress wanna cuddle with Astrid…." *Cress interrupted as he shifted even more but had to stop in order to catch his breath* |

I'm jammin' out to spotify :3 )) Vivianne(Roomie) says 'hiiii' ^^ )) *Astrid got in and started up the car, listening carefully to Ara's explanation. She assumed Cress was still just out of it, but she couldn't help but smile when he said he wanted to cuddle.* "I'm driving right now, Cress. Just sit with Ara for a few minutes. We'll be home soon, okay?" *She sighed, pulling out of the parking slot and heading back towards the town. Around fifteen minutes later, she was starting to feel the pain in her legs resurfacing. She pulled into her driveway and turned off the car, trying to avoid touching her stitches. Ara still didn't know what had happened, and she'd like to keep it that way.* "Cress, you up? We're home." *She glanced over at him, unbuckling her seatbelt as she spoke.* |
