If she broke down now, she'd end up with more blood on her hands. She shook her head a little and put her hands on Ara's shoulders to grab her attention.* "Don't break down on me now. *Ara slowly stood up and tried to compose herself but the tears kept coming, then she gripped her head and her hair started to shift a little, and was starting to grow thick, hooked cyan claws with a long tail that curled upward* "Shadow is such a shy creature and for him to kidnap Cress…what did Syren do to him?!" *She looked at Astrid, with sad eyes, her voice echoed a little as her eyes glowed brightly and was starting to grow white fur that seemed to glow as well* " *Syren pondered for a bit as Cypress sat calmly on the ground, his head slightly tilted, until she finally opened the cage, yet Cypress continued sitting where he was* "I always like you more…come" *Syren turned and lead Cypress into a smaller room with a ladder leading to the outside world* "You are weak and need to ensure that Cress is out of the way, time fo-" "BLOOD SHEAD KHEHEHHEHEEHHEHHEHEHEHEHEHHE" *Cypress laughed hysterically then hastily made his way up the ladder, he discovered that he was in a remote area and started to make his way towards town, which will take hours* |

"The problem with Shadow is he's only part shadow demon, in other words you can't summon him and he's reptilian, so runes never worked to began with, I think he's spore demon" *Then her eyes lit up as she turned to face Astrid* "Oh! He's interesting to study, turns out that whatever he is releases scents based on his moods, for mating he releases a sweet odor however only beings with a strong sense of smell can detect it, such as werewolves and this one were cat person we encountered, and yes…I'm not entirely human as you can tell" *Her face dropped a little* "He always had a crush on Syren, so when she asked the circle for an assistant Shadow didn't think twice and he is a people pleaser…." *Ara's voice dropped as she glanced to the side* "He also disguises as a human, you see whatever Shadow is, he has ebony scales with patches of fur, and between his pointed horns he tended to keep the fur as a mohawk which he dyes dark blue, whenever he's disguised as a human, he keeps the blue mohawk" *No matter how hard Ara tried to keep her cool, it only seemed to backfire whenever she spoke of anything she was passionate about, which happens to be studying anything considered unworldly, she never wanted to be stuck as a necromancer's apprentice, but at the time it seemed the only choice to pursue her dreams of developing the most detailed bestiary possible that works to break the stigma around humanoids, such as everyone thinking all vampires are blood thirsty savages, when in truth it really various on the vampire themself and blood functions as alcohol for them* |

I can keep an eye out for that Shadow dude, but I'm not sure what else." *She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment in an attempt to get her thoughts in order, and maybe block out Aster in the process. She opened her eyes slowly and observed the notebook, knowing it was a bestiary. So she really doesn't want to be a necromancer, huh? She wondered, glancing back up at Ara as she awaited a response.* |

"The best I could do is ask around, as you can see in the bestiary I had many willing models and rather…odd allies" *She smirked a little as she flipped a couple pages, revealing a gargoyle in a rather, suggestive pose, yet his face revealed he was merely joking, the shade work was masterful with his scales being drawen in such detail one would think he would jumped out of the page itself, and the expression gave life to the drawing, the kind of life an artist could only accomplish if they felt a deep passion for their works, these weren't mere drawings, but a life in itself, and surrounding the drawing was even more detailed information regarding the beast's kin such as; diet, habitat, relations and abilities.* "Sadly many necromancers were from out of town and are rather secretive, which they should but…it makes things very difficult for us" *Ara squinted a little* |

She's asleep rn :3 )) *Astrid kept her head down, seeming somewhat deflated. She kept telling herself that Cress would be fine, but she also knew there was a chance something might've happened. She partially blamed herself, despite knowing she had nothing to do with it. All you do is bring misfortune to those around you. Bryce, McKenna, Taylor. All of them end up dead because of you. It's no wonder he's about to follow. A voice taunted her. It sounded similar to Aster, but it was most likely just her own inner demons.* |

*The air grew heavy with smoke, Ara smelled it and tilted her head then scanned the area for its source, only to regret it, an unholy laughter filled the air and fire started in numerous areas, little did she or Astrid know that in the distance Cypress was running around, vanishing from plain sight only to appear and start burning the surrounding area, Lorna was slithering closely behind, the fire hybrid knew this but didn't pat mind to her and started spinning around, creating a massive, fiery storm, Ara's eyes widened as she saw the storm in the distance, it was faint, but massive* "What the hell is that?!" |

"Oh no- Oh no, no, no, no, no-" *She muttered, quickly recognizing the storm to belong to Cress. . or in this case, Cypress.* "Shit- What the hell did she do?! T-That's Cress!" *She took a small step back, seeming to panic. She didn't know what to do in this situation, and she hadn't been expecting Cress to turn like this. Part of her was hopeful that this was just Cress having an episode, but she knew by the laughter that it was Cypress. She'd heard it once before, and once was all she needed to have it ingrained into her brain.* |
