I don't want to cause any trouble neither do I want to sound whiney or complaining, I just feel sad that I might drop the game soon and would like to look into why that is. ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂ What's the issue? I feel like this site is a little neglected, especially compared to lioden. I'm not familiar with which site has been around for longer? But I feel like lioden gets a lot more love from the developers than wolvden, seeing all the events, items and mutations. I feel like here are a lot less customization options and a lot less to do? There is no motivation to keep going? Maybe it's an issue of difficulty. You reach max level very quickly here and have discovered all places in a short time. After 6 months of playing, I did everything there is to do and I'm getting bored. But I don't want to be! ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂ What might be the causes? Like I stated before, I don't want to put blame on anyone! It may simply be an issue of user count and/or budget. You have to plan out where to put your ressources and efforts into, of course. I just feel like this site could be more fun? Lioden proves that, after all. For example, you could certainly add mutations like dire wolves or even mutations to make the wolves look more like dogs, like floppy ears or curled tails. Getting a primal was a goal for me in lioden, but getting a pose here seems much less desireable. Maybe I just missed it, but outside of customization, wolvden also has less writing? I don't even mean monthly events, but also karma-based flavour texts and encounters and even some lines showing the personality of the lionesses and cubs! It's not a must-have. I can bond with my wolves like it is, too. But details like these show that wolvden is overall the weaker site. Outside of budget reasons, maybe it's a coding issue or an issue the art has? Maybe it's just harder to implement new stuff because it would be too much of a hassle? ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂ The dreaded word: Advertisement I applaud the developer team for not using adds to monetize their sites, I really do! I don't know their accounting books. But maybe putting some adds on the (unused) sidebars would be a way to get more support? Not on lioden, because it seems to not need the extra help. But I'll gladly have some adds in wolvden when I know it contibutes to my experience positively! I might even consider getting some sort of premium membership to disable the adds. It makes at least more sense to me than buying GC I don't need. ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂ What can the community do? Of course the users can spend money to help with the budget. But I don't even feel the need to spend real currency in here, because GC hold a lot less worth. Because what would you spend them on, anyways? I'm an (almost) daily player so daily nesting and the like are just not neccessary to me. Lioden conters that with an in-depth breeding system. Getting that pretty Smilus let me hover over that PayPal Button a couple of times, so why not here too? But the options and content updates as they are now just too little to justify that. I don't have a LOT of GC, but even those few make me scratch my head wondering how I'm supposed to spend them. ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂ I love Wolvden! But I love Lioden more... (sadly) I'm not insinuating that wolvdens profits (if there is any) are going to lioden. The site gets new content once in a while. But I wouldn't blame them if they spend leftover profit on their more popular project. It makes sense. I would like to love Wolvden. But from my standpoint, the site seems to be neglected. The fixes to this aren't easy or even possible at the moment. Maybe they intend to let the site slowly die and focus on their favourite child. Everyone put so much work into this and I don't want it to go to waste. Wolvden has things I like more! Like better (imo) minigames and a more fun daily quest system as well as more clan roles and illnesses. But I fear that's not enough to keep my interest at the moment. ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂ What do you think? Again, if I'm not the first to post something like this, feel free to link another thread! These are all my personal opinions and suggestions. Do you agree or disagree? Did I just miss some content that you enjoy enough to keep playing? Did you spend real money here, and if so, for what? Do you possibly have assumptions why wolvden is like this? I'll be happy to hear from the developers themselves! I hope you don't see this as an attack? I still think the team makes an amazing job.
