Lunar muttered something nasty under her breath with something to do with "Old hag" or something worse. It was hard to tell as she muttered many in one sentence. Nebula smacked Lunar real hard before Lunar could be anymore nasty. (Yeah, most of my wolves just have a few words to them rather than full lore, only wolves with significant jobs get lore or if they are related to the lead.) (Thank you, at least I get to see my friends) |

"She's quite capable, don't get me wrong but she's never showed any interest in what I do. She helps watch the puppies, instead." She explained carefully, not wanting to put her only daughter in a bad light. "And I'm not getting any younger, I suppose." She then regarded the siblings with a touch of pity and sympathy. She never had any siblings, but she figured it had to be tough to have one that you had a... strained relationship with, to say the least. "There are others," She mused, mostly to herself, "But-- but it doesn't feel right." Then quietly, "... A leader aught to take care of herself and her pack." "Should I leave?" She offered hesitantly. "I don't want to cause you all any problems, you've all-- well, you two have been nothing but kind to me..." The worst fight had been between Volplie and herself when that- that deformed pup had been born. She was, admittedly, afraid of it and wanted it gone, afraid it was a bad omen of sorts. Volplie fought back tooth and nail, literally and she had disappeared for a few months with the little thing, abandoning her other pups. Campfire was still seething from the fact, although fully grown and a mother herself. She returned, though, and there was something off with the pup. It survived, but it never seemed to age and it mostly sat there... watching. Muttering to itself. Amaryllis made it a point to avoid it, and Volplie as well. She shook her head, getting distracted. Then she asked, towards Nebula, "Are you okay...?" |

She pointedly looked at Lunar. "I don't know... my scouts-- hunters too-- could probably keep an eye on her, if need be. If you want to bring her along... but either way, the trip is back that way."
