But I'm curious, that's why I ask. So ravens are not crows, according to the picture. Does it mean that crows are ravens? Similarly it works with squares being rectangles but rectangles not being squares. This can also explain why we mostly talk about ravens and rarely about crows - every crow is raven!

@dzanek Ah no they are actually two different species. Like a wolf and dog.

Saying wolf doesn't specify which type of wolf. Artic wolf, timberwolf, grey wolf and so on.
But they are all wolves and not dogs.

Dog doesn't say if it's a husky or a dalmatian but they are all dogs and not wolves.

So raven can mean the common raven or the Australian raven or more but never crow.

And crows can be the American crow or the carrion crow but never a raven.

Basically ravens are part of the same genus as crows, Corvus from the same family Corvidae, but they are their own species.

"Hidden Passage in Watkins Glen Park" is so specific! I'm imagining the artist has been there in person. I mean in wolfson.

That's some useful info! I wish there was some kind of minigame where we were given an image and had to guess whether it's a crow or a raven.
