I am "New" to the game and I haven't been to this event yet. I was wondering how I get Lunar Essence, do you find them while your exploring or does it just reset after each rollover?

You can find lunar essence by exploring during dawn, day or dusk in any biome. It's a very basic encounter (no option to click)

You start each rollover of the event with 25 bonus essence and you can collect other 100 by exploring each day. After hitting 100 (you can see the counter in the event page), you will not find any more essence for that day. The counter will reset at rollover.

If you don't use the lunar essence that day, it will transfer to the next rollover, but you can't pile up more than 100 at a time, so be careful of the limit.
