Sabran looked at the floor " I'm sorry. That must be rough" she looked up at her " what's your grandmother like. I haven't met any other families members of mine apart from my father. " She swayed slightly as she waited for an answer before looking over at the door to make sure no one else was here

Katsura wasn't sure how to answer that, but she tried her best to summarize. "She's. . alright. She didn't want to take care of me, and she didn't support my mother and father having me, but when they died, she had no choice but to take me in. I guess you could say she's still a little salty about that. She took care of me, though." She sighed, sounding upset just talking about it.

" did the rest of your family have powers, or was it just you?" She frowned, not really wanting to bring it up but she was slightly interested in how the powers work, and if it was genetic or random. Sabran sighed, families can be hard work sometimes and it seems that not everyone has a perfect life

"It's just me. Or- I think it was. My grandmother has very weak magic, and my mother's magic was so defective that she was considered human. I, on the other hand, was cursed with. . this." She sighed, closing her eyes and bringing her knees up to her chest.

" Sabean's social skills are basically zero, but she understood biology and science rather well, sometimes it payed off to be stuck alone with many books for weeks on end. " Because if it was genetic then maybe more people have magic but they are a carrier"

Katsura hadn't thought much about that, and in truth, she didn't want to. "I don't know, Sabran. I grew up outside of my birth coven, so I guess I never learned." She told her, sounding somewhat offended. It had been so long since she'd been there that she worried she might not even speak the language anymore.

OKAY- BRAINWAVE! What if when they leave, they go back to Katsura's birth coven? I think it would be super cool, and I've kiiiinda soooooorta totally started making the entire coven system to satisfy my ADHD brain :> ))

Oh boy- This week got REALLY busy, REALLY fast! I should be free for most of the weekend, though! ))

Katsura sighed, keeping her back facing Sabran. After a few minutes, she stood up and turned back to face her. "I've gotta go. I'll . . see you later, okay?" She asked, sounding deflated.
Without waiting for an answer, she turned and headed back the way she came, her head filled with countless thoughts. She's not as bad as I thought.        She still hates magic, though.        How is that her fault? It's just how she was raised. She argued with herself internally, trying to decide her next course of action. Unfortunately, in her concentration, she ended up releasing a few white strands, which she quickly noticed and smothered with her hands. Shit- Calm down, Kat. She told herself.

Sabran nodded " yep" not paying attention at all as she layed down and swung her legs above her as she started to read, fully talking to herself about the book before falling asleep, face planting the book completely.

Time skip to morning ( if that's alright?)

Sabran woke up with a loud grumble and lifted her face off of the page of the book " damnit I shouldn't have been reading last night. " She sat up and remembered what had happened " oh I have grapes!" She stood up and grabbed a blanket and her grapes, sitting on the floor and humming as she ate grapes and snuggled down

The next morning, Katsura woke up with a wicked headache (Definitely not a witch joke). She practically rolled out of bed and then made her way down to the kitchen, very loosely tucking her hair into her cap. She was still keeping it brown, but it was an odd shade because she was tired.

Dammit- I shouldn't have gone there last night.      She wouldn't have eaten if you hadn't.        Yeah, but I'm tireeeeed- She groaned internally, continuing to argue with her thoughts. She shook her head and grabbed the silver tray, heading up to some random noble's room again.
