Sabran hummed and swayed reading and eating grapes was the most fun she had had in a while. She frowned at her vase, the flowers needed to be renewed but the changes that she was let out were slim. A loud knock sounded and she opened it to find two large guards walking in " we have been told to conduct a security check by his majesty the king"
She took a step back " o-okay, what are you looking for?" She asked, not understanding at all what was going on

As Katsura passed by Sabran's room, she noticed that the doors were open. "What? But I thought the doors were to remain closed.?" She wondered, peering in slightly as she walked. She caught sight of the guards, and immediately stepped back. She kept her head down, acting as if she were just any other maid. "Shit shit shi-" She was internally panicking, half wondering what they were doing there. The other half of her, though, just wanted to get as far away from the threat as possible.

There was a look of panic on Katsura's face, and she even seemed afraid. "What are they doing? Is everything alright?" She asked quietly, her hands shaking slightly with her tray. She needed to leave, but she wanted to make sure that Sabran was okay first.

" I don't know what's going on, this hasn't happened before"  sabran looked up and down the hallway " I'm scared, really scared" she crossed her arms before looking back into her room, the guards pulling her box of trinkets out from under her bed, sabran quickly patted down her dress, looking for something in one of the pockets

The guards had known about Sabran's box, which means there was most likely surveillance in her room. Either that, or they'd heard the glass shatter last night. "Shit- What are you looking for?" She asked, quickly getting herself together. At least one of them needed to remain calm, otherwise they were both fucked. She watched as the guards dumped the box out on the bed and began rifling through the items.

" something that belong to my mother, my father said that nothing else of hers was left but she gave this to me when I was a small child" sabran smiled slightly at the thought of her mother before flinching as her items were loudly dumped and sorted through " we need to go. If they don't find anything they will start looking for me and ask me questions. I don't feel safe" she pinned her cloak over her shoulders

Oop- Not sure if you remember, but we're supposed to wait a few months before they escape, because Sabran's father has to find someone for her to marry :^ ))

Katsura knew she didn't want to be here, but running would only make the situation ten times worse. Fuuuck- The things I do for this damn girl.

She shifted her hair to be completely brown, and then put on her best poker face. Without a word, she walked into Sabran's room with an irritated expression. "Excuse you? What do you think you're doing?" She demanded, sounding both shocked and upset. "Direct orders from his majesty. What are you doing?" One of them asked, not seeming to care about her presence as he continued to rummage through Sabran's items. "I am here in service of her grace, who is currently very upset! The fact that you believe you have the right to enter a lady's room and turn everything over is utterly ridiculous! Shameful, even!" She scolded them, setting the tray down on the edge of the nightstand yet again. "I-I beg your pardon?" The other guard turned around, seeming both confused and worried. "That's 'miss', to you. Have you any idea how disrespectful your actions have been towards her grace? You barge into her chambers unannounced and uninvited, and then proceed to make her stand unaccompanied in the halls! A woman of her stature should never be made to do such things, let alone without an escort! This shameful behavior should be reported to his majesty directly!" She snapped, and that seemed to catch their attention. "As her grace's head handmaid, I oversee all of her affairs, and see to it that her room is kept clean and tidy. I don't suppose you plan to clean this up?" She mused, to which the guards shook their heads and bowed their slightly. "We meant no disrespect, miss. His majesty has simply asked us to search for something." He spoke as if he were a child being scolded by his mother for bad grades. "And I'm sure he would just love to hear that you two are the reason her grace is scared senseless?" She raised an eyebrow. "N-No, madam! We'll be on our way." These two were so easy to manipulate, it was almost funny to Katsura.

Sorry it's been a long day//

Sabean watched the two if them leave before walking back in and pulling her cloak more around her shoulders than before " wow, that was amazing! " She smiled " you have a very good angry voice" she nodded and began packing up all of her trinkets back into the boxes , each one had its own special and predetermined place in one of three sections on the box, and sabran muttered to herself as she sorted everything out

Katsura closed the doors behind them and sighed, seeming drained. "Yep. I have a very convincing mom voice." She smirked, walking over to the nightstand and picking up the tray yet again. "I won't be able to hold them off forever, you know. Whatever it is you're hiding, you need to hide it better." She sighed, glancing over Sabran's shoulder as she sorted through her items. "What are you hiding?" She finally asked, sounding genuinely curious.
