they'd be light-aligned, do you think they'd be more fitting as a stray or a stalker for the Setting Sun team? |

Age: 3 years 8 months Gender: Female (she/her) Sexuality: Demisexual Role: Stray (Moonblessed) Alignment: Undetermined Description: Veil seems to be a bit taller than your average female. She appears to be all legs: a long, lean, running machine. She is built thin and slender for the sake of agility and speed, allowing her to slip away from pursuers with ease. It also helps her in hunting small game, relying on both the element of surprise and her explosive running abilities. Hunting by yourself isn't all that simple, after all. Consequently, she's on the thin side- and not just because she's a runner. A meal isn't guaranteed every day, and that's the hard truth. She moves with confidence, elegance, and outright stealth. It can be difficult to hear Veil coming, and it's her intention to keep it that way as a stray. Her coat is unique, representative of a rich sunset, and has long white feathering along her belly and legs. Personality: +++ Confident, charismatic, protective // Mature, independent --- Guarded, crafty, rigid Through and through, Veil is a loner. She behaves in a very guarded, cynical fashion that makes her appear suspicious. Granted, she thinks that everyone else looks suspicious as well. While her behavior seems a little bit paranoid, she isn't exactly dense- she's crafty. Perhaps it's a valid reason to find her suspicious, but her charisma can easily cause a stranger to let down their guard. She's very capable with her words, and her confident demeanor makes her all the more convincing. While she has obvious emotional barriers and a lack of faith in the pack, she is protective of those she considers to be equals within her own circle. Gaining her trust is no easy feat, but once it's yours, you better keep it. Once you get to know her, Veil is somewhat of a role model. She's very independent and mature, someone to look up to and follow as a leader. Nonetheless, she's rigid. Veil doesn't really understand how to relax and unwind, given that she finds it difficult to trust strangers. She constantly wears her "business face" and can easily come off as uptight. Background: Roaring Sky had been an admirable Moonblessed who had gained quite a following underneath him. While Alpha wasn't the choice of the pack, it was clear that a group of wolves had risen up in support of the respectful Land Runner. He was good at his duties, he was good at working with others, and he was great at training the novices. There was nothing wrong with Roaring Sky: he was well-loved, and he didn't seem to have an evil bone in his body. But he did have a secret, just a little one. Sometimes on his adventures as a Land Runner, he'd run into strays...and one just so happened to capture his heart. Her name was Fleet, a somewhat cynical wanderer who didn't give most pack wolves the time of day. She didn't have faith in their system, found them to be disrespectful brutes who conquered land all for themselves, and pushed out all other occupants no matter how old their roots were. But Roaring Sky...he wormed his way into her stony heart. When they started a family, they didn't know what to do. Having a litter outside of the pack might ruin his image and push the pack into chaos, or worse- make his pups a target. His children had just opened their eyes when the local Alpha was poisoned, and the next leader was to be chosen. He promised to hurry back to Fleet and their pups with a plan. If he became Alpha...well, they'd figure it all out. If he wasn't chosen, then maybe the new Alpha would be accepting of his broken family. But he never came back. Nobody knew what happened to him, and most suspected foul play. He was perfect, absolutely leader material...and his opposers saw that as a threat, even if the decision of Alpha was well beyond mortal abilities. Veil and Prarie grew up in the absence of their father, knowing nothing but the stories that Fleet shared with them. Their father was a hero, a leader, and that pack...demons. She forbid them ever going near that place- Veil especially. Fleet always said that she had Roaring Sky's eyes...Prarie and Veil always figured that it was a sentimental thing, that Veil's eyes were just another reminder of their father. They never knew the truth about being Moonblessed. Prarie had normal eyes, after all. As they aged, their mother came to die. As adults, Prarie and Veil stook together for some time before Prarie's curiosity got the best of him, and he left to join their father's pack. He wanted answers. Veil- she just wanted her father back. They've been separated for over a year now. Veil remains wary of the pack, having kept herself hidden from them for all these years. Surely if they knew who her father had been, she'd meet the same fate as him. They couldn't- no, can't be trusted. Family: Father: Roaring Sky (????)
