Amberblaze - Warrior - She/they - Location: Outside Camp"We can hunt for fish in the lake, but it's still good to know where resources are. If you're so adverse to the RiverClan practices you're free to abstain from all the fish that make be brought to camp as fresh kill," Amberblaze rambled off quickly, growing a bit impatient with Crowheart. While she could understand that he had lost basically everything in the move, they still found his stubbornness a bit hard to get on with. "I've never had a fish Stormclaw, but I've also heard theyre quite good. Hopefully no one is adverse to them. I'd hate to make someone sick," Amberblaze spoke calmly to the tom. They were glad to be in friendly company even if she wasn't well acquainted with the other ThunderClan cats that had made the journey. |

Crowheart - Warrior - he/him - Location: Outside of Camp"Never said I wouldn't fish," Crowheart answered, looking a little irritated again. He had been glad that they were finally starting the patrol, but now, they were talking again and barely making any progress. He took a few steps away from the others and sniffed the air, waiting for the others to finish talking. He thought about fishing. We'd probably all have to learn it. Swimming, too. |

Applestar - Leader - He/him - Location: CampWith the medicine cat and his apprentice heading off with their warrior escort, Applestar turned to find his own task to preoccupy himself with. If he didn't find something to do, he'd surely be consumed by his own thoughts once again, and nobody wanted that. With a soft, rhythmic hum to himself, the long-legged tabby weaved around camp to find a spot to begin. There were many choices- there was not a single den that was perfectly reinforced. Everything had been slapped together late last evening, when they arrived in the Grove and found themselves without stars to guide their paws. Everyone had (understandably) wanted to go to bed and think nothing else of it. Part of something inside of Applestar still tugged him towards outside of camp. He wanted to know what was out there. Other cats? Badgers? Twolegs? Destiny? The red tom kept his ears angled towards the outline of dark, tall pine trees that mottled the foggy horizon. It seemed so...ominous. Tempting, but certainly not all that welcoming. Ah- there he was, already losing himself. With a small shake of his head, the leader muttered to himself about staying on-task, before deciding to seek out their resident queen. The nursery would be a good place to start. They needed to make sure their queen and the tiny furballs that were the future of their clan were safe and comfortable. Ever since what happened with Beepurr, Applestar had been understandably...uncomfortable around the nursery and kits. He still struggled to wrap his head around the situation. He'd never felt romantic attraction before- how could Beepurr suddenly be expecting their kits when he never felt such a thing for her? They were friends, all the same, but...well, it just made no sense. While the little ones didn't make it to see the light of day, it was obvious from the moment they were born that they looked nothing like their supposed father. But if Beepurr had been seeing someone else, why was she insistent on being with Applestar? Damn his thoughts for wandering off again. Reining in himself, the red tom veered in the direction of the tabby queen with an awkward wave of his tail. "Hello, Sparrowsong." His voice was gentle and warm per usual. Seldom did the tom find himself capable of raising his voice- while he was emotional, his blood wasn't the type to boil. "How's the nursery feeling? Any drafts? Any places that need better reinforcement?" |

HeatherStump - Medicine Cat - He/They - Location: TerritoryHeatherStump shook himself out, pushing his thoughts away. "FernShade, did you touch the berries with your mouth? Even just a tiny lick?" He asked, face stern. He didnt want to worry her, but this was also a huge thing and she should be worried. "No, no, it's okay FernShade, it's not your fault. I had no idea deathberries grew this close to the camp." He said, face softening. He nodded as he looked at FadedPaw, "We cant take any chance that she accidentally tasted the juice. Come. Let's get the Yarrow." He said, gesturing for the other cat to follow as well. Fear was still coursing through his veins, he just didnt show it. He was good at keeping emotions behind a solid rock wall, if no cat knows how you're feeling, they cant use those emotions against you. MossKit - Kit - He/Him - Location: Makeshift NurseryWhen his mother held him so he could reach without falling in, he lapped some of it up before making a sour face. "It tastes weird, mama." He said, frowning slightly. "Oh! Food!" He frolicked after her, sniffing the prey at the same time as her. He nodded when she asked if he was hungry, a loud grumble coming from his stomach seconds afterwards. He took a big mouse, trying to drag it back towards the nursery. The thing was almost as big as him, and heavy too. He mewled as he pulled, pushing against the ground with his small paws. "Its heavy Mama!!" He said, voice muffled by the mouse. When he saw AppleStar he immediately let go, hopping over to him with a squeal. He ran around the leader's legs, pouncing at one of his paws and trying to chew on it, his bramble-like claws trying to find purchase in his leg. |

Amberblaze - Warrior - She/they - Location: Outside of CampAmberblaze padded quickly forward, taking the spot in front of the rest of the cats. She didn't intend on leading them, but they were just so curious to see what was ahead. "If the moss is slippery it's best you ease into fishing," she spoke openly, "I'd hate to see someone fall in especially when none of us are experienced swimmers." The statement was directed at Crowheart despite Amberblaze speaking out to the whole group. It was true. Even those who had come from ThunderClan and were comfortable on the moss weren't likely to be balanced on the slick rocks near the stream. If they couldn't ground themselves the ShadowClan cats definitely wouldn't be able to. "We may have to stick to the lake for a while, just while everyone gets used to the new terrain. Maybe don't drink alone. Definitely don't go after fish if you're unbalanced while drinking." She wasn't trying to lead, but it was important to voice concerns in order to share with everyone what they were thinking. If they could all talk openly about their findings and concerns they would be able to work together as StormClan instead of being fragmented members aligned with their former clans. |

FERNSHADE — SHE/HER — TERRITORY"At least we know that deathberries are close by, and we can dig it out?" She whimpered, frowning. The idea of eating yarrow was n't tempting. But Fernshade knew better to disobey, so she kicked earth over the discarded branch, and followed the healers, anxiety coursing through her veins. Of all times to do something stupid- why did it have to be so early in StormClan's start? She didn't want to die. It wasn't that she was a egotistic, but she didn't deserve to die! Maybe it was a sign that this place wasn't safe. Maybe she was being delusional. Or maybe the deathberry juice was making her crazy. She wasn't sure anymore. |

FEATHERSPIRE— ANY PRONOUNS — MED CAT — CAMPFeatherspire had slept through the entire morning. You couldn't really blame them- he, just like every other StormClan cat, had been up the previous night building the new dens. If you could call them that. They were really more like shoddy, messy jokes of brambles and ferns. But they worked for the time being and they'd work now. Featherspire had settled comfortably compared to some of their clanmates. Laying on their back, legs splayed, and drool dribbling from their jaw, they made home out of their shittily put together nest. Light snores escaped from his mouth, the only sound they made. Then he felt a slight tickling on his muzzle. A feather had drifted on his nose, and with a sneeze, the young medicine cat woke up. A huge yawn escaped from xer jaws, showing a pink tongue, and the jack stared into space for a few heartbeats while they composed themself, starting to work on grooming down their chest fur. Umber eyes scanned the medicine den, And Featherspire felt a tad guilty that they hadn't gone out gathering with Fadedpaw and Heatherstump. Nevertheless, it was too late, so it might as well do something more interesting then walk around in the woods for a while. They could at least help out around camp. Featherspire stretched out their claws, before walking out the den with a spring in their step, a small smile on their face. They rest their gaze on Applestar, who was speaking with Sparrowsong and her single kit Owlkit. Featherspire wrinkled xer muzzle in amusement, and let out a shrill purr. "Well, good morning Applestar! And co. Sleep well?" Like honey, his voice still hint at the sleepiness in their eyes, but Featherspire ignored it, starting to survey the medicine den's walls to check for what they could reinforce. |

Crowheart - Warrior - he/him - Location: Outside of Camp"Agreed. Don't drink alone," Crowheart growled. If one didn't listen carefully, they could easily mistake Crowheart as disagreeing with Amberblaze with his tone. A sick cat when the entire Clan's in an unfamiliar environment would be more troublesome than normal, Crowheart thought to himself. An extra mouth to feed when we don't even know our own territory. "Little Brown" - Kit - he/him - Location: Lake Shore Near CampWonder what Little Gray and Little Mew are doing. Haven't seen them for days. Mama, too. A little brown kit scampered through the forest. He was curious and hungry. He had smelled other cats. His stomach growled - he had been eating nothing but the meager amount of berries he could find for the past few days. As he neared what seemed like a den of a lot of cats, he spotted the lake as well. Now he was curious, hungry, and thirsty. He decided to drink first. He heard some cats' voices at the den and avoided them quietly, remembering what his mother had told him about strangers. Don't show yourself before you know what they're like. He stood on a rock at the shore and tried to drink from the lake. He couldn't reach the water so he bent down lower - a little too low. He lost his balance on the slippery moss and toppled over into the water with a terrified squeal. ((Anyone is welcome to discover and save him)) |

Whitepaw-apprentice-he/him-location: lakeshoreWhitepaw took a break from his ramblings to go and get a drink. He went the short way down to the lakeshore when he heard a splash. Startled he raced over to the clump of fur and grabbed it. It looked a lot like a mouse. Perhaps he would bring it back to applestar. He didn't know if he had eaten yet and he wanted to try and impress his leader. Maybe then he would be seen worthy of having a mentor. He raced over to applestar and placed the furry thing (little brown, whitepaw wouldn't really know kit scent that well if at all) at applestar's paws "i found this over in the lake! I thought it was a mouse at first but it smells different." Whitepaw sat back and waited for anawnser he would have find out about snowwhisper possibly likeing frogs another time |

Newpaw-Apprentice-She/her-Location: CampThe little she-cat frowned at the mention of their old territory. "I don't remember our old territory that well." She admitted as she stopped pulling reeds. She turned to find some moss and began to careful scrape at it with her claws, she didn't want to mutilate it before they were able to bring it back to the clan. Newpaw was vaguely aware of Whitepaw leaving and she wondered where he was off to. Stormclaw-Warrior-He/him-Location: ForestAt the mention of potentially falling into the lake, Stormclaw's lip curled in displeasure. Not long before he had been adopted by Honeysong and Redstorm, he had been wandering by himself after his twolegs left him behind when they moved nests. He had only been four moons old at the time and had no other cat to guide him. And his life had been one of safety and comfort, he had been sheltered essentially. So he was much too naive for the outside world and it's a wonder he survived. But he especially hated the idea of getting his fur wet. He had fallen into the river in their old territory but he had been saved by Redstorm and brought back to camp. Honeysong had adopted him right away and he had been raised as a Shadowclan cat. He gave his head a small shake to dismiss the memory. He looked toward Amberblaze and Crowheart, nodding at their words. |
