Fadedpaw - MCA - she/they - Location: Beyond the Forest@Featherspire, anyone They jumped, slightly, not expecting anyone to speak with them. It was his comforting words that made their breath hitch. They knew he meant well, trying to settle their heavy heart, but they were wondering how true it was. How could their mother watch over them when StarClan had seemingly vanished? Where would she have gone, was her soul wandering aimlessly? Fadedpaw shuddered, looking over to Featherspire and catching some of Ivyshade's blood still on his paws. They looked down, catching it on their's too. Ivyshade had passed not long before the clan left for Sun's Garden, and the two were unable to fully clean themselves before then. Snowwhisper - Warrior - he/him - Location: Beyond the Forest@Lilacivy, anyone Despite his mourning, and the phantom pain of his leg, Snowwhisper had changed his path slightly, moving slowly closer to Lilacivy who had stayed towards the back. He glanced up to him, and hesitated for a moment. Finally he spoke after walking next to the deputy for more than moment. "You don't think Sun's Garden can give me a new leg?" A joke, obviously, a slight smirk sounding in his voice. He's rather joke to the deputy, one of the only cats that was near him and close in age, instead of an elder who'd scold him like he was a kit. |

Amberblaze - warrior - they/sheopen for interaction Amberblaze padded alongside the others. Their hearing was finally beginning to level back out which made it a bit easier to keep themselves balanced. It was a relief that she didn't have to rely on someone else to carry her through the crowd because she didn't wish to burden anyone. Plus, it likely would've been Stormclaw who she'd be holding back, and he had injuries they deemed far worse than their ear. Their chocolate pelt still had small speckles of gunk in it that they'd had yet to get out, and they hoped that wouldn't ruin their first impression with these strangers. Amberblaze also hoped that the dishelved appearance of the clan wouldn't frighten the locals or cause a fight. Lilacivy - deputy - he/himplanned to interact with Quail and Bream, interaction with Snowwhisper "If they could replenish the lot of us it'd be quite the impressive meeting gesture," the tom joked in response. He felt for Snowwhisper, as he was sure Snowwhisper felt for everyone else. Even those who hadn't lost someone's life had lost a piece of themselves. Almost the entire clan had been injured, and many of those injuries had been fatal or largely life changing. He did hope, deep down, that Sun's Garden would be able to provide Snowwhisper and others with some sort of aid to make the losses easier. The deputy padded a bit faster, much to the dismay of his aching shoulders, and got a bit closer to the group. It felt more like he was walking with them as opposed to watching them, and he hoped Snowwhisper didn't take offense or would follow. Something about the march was daunting as if some threat loomed ahead of them, and no one knew that it was there. With all the loss and injury the lack of joy and energy was violently apparent in everyone gait. Lilacivy wondered if he would ever seen camp again, their new home. Had the fishing lessons with Breammist been the last warm interaction he would have for a while? He moved a bit further into the thrall, being surrounded by the others made him feel less alone, less vulnerable. He was supposed to be strong, yet he felt so downtrodden. He had to get it together for the sake of his clan; he had to protect them. |

Snowwhisper, anyone else Hearing Snowwhispers comment Minkfur can't help but bark out a laugh. "Well, if they do feel free to lemme in on it as well." Eyeing the warrior's missing leg she adds on "Though I think ya need it more than I do, huh?" A sense of respect for Snowwhisper appeared. She tended to not pay attention to anyone that wasn't close to her so she never truly noticed the white tom cat. Breammist- She/Her- Warrior Interaction with Lilacivy and Quailbristle Brokenclaw snorts as Breammist shifts behind him. "Hiding like a kit won't help anything Breammist, didn't help with the nightwalker fight now did it?" Breammist doesn't say anything, just looks down. So her dad did notice her lack of battle wounds. Embarrassing. Brokenclaw continues "You know, I should have taken Bluebite with me instead of you. He was a true fighter. But no, your mother had to have him and I got stuck with a kit more Riverclan than Shadow." This wouldn't be the first time he rambled about her and certainly not the last. Still, surrounded by cats and having him do this was a first. "Can you please stop? I'm sorry, I really tried to fight. I'll do better… but not here please" Breammist mutters, nervously eyeing around for anyone listening in. Aggravated at her tone, Brokenclaw goes to cuff Breammists ears. The surrounding forest and prior events already had the she-cat on high alert, and Breammist jumps away from the swipe towards her in a panic. The silver warrior collides into the cat in front of her, causing her to lose her balance and stumble back in shock. Looking up, she sees who she bumped into: Lilacivy. Skin heating and fur raised Breammist stutters "Oh shoot…. I'm sorry heh. I just got spooked by…" She looks for Brokenclaw only to see him briskly moving ahead, obviously irritated by Breammist. She shakes her head and mutters "Nevermind. Sorry for pushing you." |

@Breammist, Lilacivy, Mousecatcher, Bluedawn, Plumflame Step. Step. Step. Step. It felt like they had been walking for ages now. Camp was far gone, and so was Hawkcry. Quailbristle lifted her paw to look at the fresh scar on her pawpad. Not permanently. She still existed, in her memory. And in this scar. She would bear it as a reminder. Of who she lost. Her frizzy, dark brown tabby pelt— her stark green eyes- her go-getter attitude. Quailbristle felt a ache of despair. Had her last interaction with her sister really been them arguing? When Hawkcry left to chase after that Nightwalker… the Nightwalker that Quailbristle had let go. So it's my fault. I killed my sister. Quailbristle hung her head, and felt a tremor. I'm a murderer. I killed her! It's my fault, all mine! If i wasn't such a mouse-hearted, bee-brained coward, Hawkcry would be alive! He clenched his teeth, and felt a few tears prick the corners of his eyes. He couldn't do this, not right now. He swung his head to a lonely tortoiseshell nearby. "You, can you hold Mousecatcher please?" The tortie mewed, "Plumflame'. "Yes, Plumflame. Please?" Maybe it was his pathetic expression that made the tom slip under Mousecatcher's side and help support him. Bluedawn glanced to her adoptive kit as he pad into the thick of the crowd, but Quailbristle didn't want to look back. He ends up squeezing between two burly warriors he didn't know the name of, and peeks through their muscled pelts to see a blue-gray molly and a cat who looked like her father squaring off. "your mother had to have him and i got stuck with a kit more RiverClan than Shadow." The older tom snapped to his daughter, who Quailbristle recognized as Breammist. They felt their claws unsheathe. What was so wrong with a half-clan cat, huh? Quailbristle was Thunder-Shadow, and they were perfectly capable. The tabby felt a stirring of anger, or perhaps just a opening to release all of their stress. They shouldered through the crowd, ready to snap at Brokenclaw, but the tom was already gone, and Breammist looked like she had bumped into someone. Not just someone, one of the deputies! Lilacivy! Quailbristle slunk forward until they were to Breammist's left and growled, "That's your dad, right? Why was he being so pissy? Why didn't you yell something at him!' Featherspire — Med — He/They/Xe @Fadedpaw Featherspire was unerved by the blood that coated both of their paws. Couldn't he have saved her? The poor molly didn't deserve such a death— bleeding out while cats scramble around her, and then messily thrown into a hole to become worm-food. Neither did Fallenspirit, Fernshade, or any of the other cats. It just wasn't fair. StarClan, how could you do such a thing to us? Haven't i given enough, done everything for you? And this is how you repay me- no- us! You take Fadedpaw's mother from her? You let these monsters ravage our camp and throw our life into the paws of some rogue? I hope you're satisfied with the suffering we've endured. |

Snowwhisper - Warrior - he/him - Location: Beyond the Forest@Lilacivy, Minkfur, anyone He hummed in response, watching the deputy pad a little faster to get away from the outskirts. Snowwhisper didn't blame him, the edge was making his fur stand up, and would send a shiver down his spine as he remembered the beasts that live in this area. He moved himself a little faster, his legs aching more than the Clan's first journey. He looked up quickly, however, when Minkfur returned a playful remark, followed by another. Snowwhisper didn't really know her much, as she seemed to be more reserved, so he wasn't really sure what to say next. He just replied with a sime, "Yeah, I guess I do." He sucked his teeth again, feeling a sharp shooting pain, pausing for a moment. He hopes they'd really be safe there, and that their healers could at least stop the pain and help him avoid an infection. He continued walking, picking up his pace to get closer to Lilacivy, feeling safer with the protection of the deputy he could trust. Fadedpaw - MCA - she/they - Location: Beyond the Forest@Featherspire, anyone It fell silent between them, or at least Featherspire hadn't spoken again, Fadedpaw continuing their prolonged silence. Maybe when they get there, and the apprentice saw the life and safety these locals have built, they could feel safe, content. They'd open up again, and settle into life by themself without their parents. Maybe. ---- @anyone Robinfeather walked deep in the middle of the clan, safe from those freak monsters. The other cats seemed to keep their distance from him, sending glanced his way. Almost like they held a kind of resentment for him, and he knew why. His kit lost her mother, and he acted like nothing happened. Why should he? She's not really my kit anyways. He thought to himself. She may share my blood, but she'll never be my kit. He continued his pace, glaring back at the cats who couldn't keep their eyes to themselves. |

Lilacivy - deputy - he/him@Breammist, Snowwhisper, Quailbristle The tom stumbled a bit as someone collided with him. The fur around his neck rose and his claws unsheathed as he turned to see who it was. Breammist, he relaxed; she'd just been in a nasty argument from what he could hear. "Don't be sorry," Lilacivy tried to make his tone soft, safe, "Accidents happen. Are you alright?" He chose not to direct her attention back to the interactions he'd just escaped from incase the subject was much too sensitive. Besides, he didn't think himself close enough to the she to ask questions about her personal life like that. He noted that Quailbristle had no issue asking about what had happened. Perhaps that was a good thing, someone for Breammist to confide in. Hopefully, he thought, she hadn't felt too put on the spot at Quailbristle's questioning. He noted that Snowwhisper had caught up to him, brushing alongside the rest of the pack. Lilacivy hoped that the walk was not too painful for the tom. "Snowwhisper," he had gotten closer, quieter, "If you need help please don't be afraid to ask. It'd be my honor." The tom knew that some took offense to such offers, thinking themselves as strong, unbreakable. Lilacivy knew that even the fiercest of warriors needed help sometimes which is why he always mentioned the honor it would be to provide it. |

Morning'Skies - Deputy - She/Her - Location: Beyond the ForestMorning'Skies continued to follow the groups side, watching the woods for any threats. The Nightwalkers didn't seem like an issue during the day though, that's probably why they were called Nightwalkers. She spotted a nice little pond nearby and wondered over, completely forgetting about protecting the clan from any potential dangers. A small fish swam past her and she reached in to grab it, she missed. "It happens." She thought and saw some of her clan members pass her from the corner of her eye. Morning'Skies realized what she was supposed to be doing and headed back to following the clans side. Gold'Breeze - Warrior - She/Her - Location: Beyond the ForestGold'Breeze started to drop back towards Cloversong dragging her paws just so Cloversong could hear the arrival of Gold'Breeze next to her. She felt bad for the elder, even though she knew Cloversong wanted no pity. A world without sight and being forced into retirement, without a say, that would be no good. "Hello Cloversong" Gold'Breeze said to the she, "How's your day?" She asked thinking she might not get a very good anwser as they had just been attacked by Nightwalkers and Cloversong was just blinded. Luckily Gold'Breeze managed to get out of there with few scratches, although she had a fairly deep wound from when one of those things tried to tear her paw off. |

Little Brown - Kit - he/him - Location: Beyond the Forestplanned interaction with Blizzardwhisker Grunt, bump. Grunt, bump. Little Brown was bumping against the chest of the warrior carrying him with each step the warrior took. He could hear the huffs of the warrior's heaving chest. Little Brown wasn't the smartest, but he was smart enough to know that the warrior was tired. He wriggled slightly, trying to somehow become lighter. "Not helping," the warrior grumbled through a mouthful of kit scruff. "Okay," Little Brown mewed and went back to being still. Earlier, he had offered to walk on the ground himself but he had been refused immediately. Maybe someone could help? He looked up and around. |

Cloversong-Elder-She/her-Location: Beyond the forest@Goldbreeze Cloversong had been entirely focused on putting one paw in front of the other and so upon hearing the sound of pawsteps approaching, she jerked her head up in surprise. Scenting the air, she recognized Goldbreeze, and a second after she had identified the former medicine cat, she could hear Goldbreeze asking a question. "Hello." Cloversong meowed, sighing softly. The black furred she-cat gave a humorless chuckle. "Well... I'm alive." A heartbeat later she hissed in irritation, picking her paw up quickly. A sharp rock had pierced her paw pad causing minor discomfort, and she carefully tried to remove it but to no avail. Newpaw-Apprentice-She/her-Location: Beyond the forest@Open for interaction Newpaw looked around her with exhaustion, nerves prickling along her spine. "Skystripe, are we almost there?" She asked hopefully. The white apprentice glanced at her mother and was met with an apologetic expression. "Not yet, little one. Why don't you and Littlepaw come up with a game to distract yourselves? Just make sure not to bump into any cat. I'm sure we can't be too far from Rho's camp." Skystripe answered, running her tail along Newpaw's back soothingly. Newpaw nodded and her brother nudged her shoulder with his gently. "Come on, Newpaw. We can play 'Name that Warrior'." Littlepaw suggested. Newpaw managed a weak smile and nodded again. As kits one of their favorite games was for one of them to describe a warrior and the other to try and guess who it was. Littlepaw was very attentive to the world around him, he was more observant, and he almost always stumped Newpaw. But it was always fun nonetheless. -------- @Slight interaction with Robinfeather & Fadedpaw/Mae Skystripe watched her kits play with an affectionate look in her eyes and a small smile on her face. It had been difficult being a single mother to two rambunctious kits, but they were worth it. She loved them more than she could ever say and despite the circumstances surrounding their birth, she thanked Starclan everyday that she was their mother. A quick glance around at her clanmates and she spotted Robinfeather, her tail flicked uneasily at the sight of the warrior. Of course, he would be huddled in the middle of the group where it was safest, he had never been anything more than a coward. She just hadn't realized it until it was too late. Alarm coursed through her as she realized that Robinfeather was looking around and she quickly yet casually looked away so as not to arouse suspicion. Plus, she didn't want to make eye contact with him... she couldn't. She looked back at her kits; they had no idea that they were related to the warrior. None of their clanmates did, she carried that burden alone. Though she wondered if Fadedpaw had any idea about the truth, if her mother had told her. Skystripe shook her head, unless the medicine cat apprentice confronted her then it was best to remain silent. After all, she needed to protect her kits from any potential backlash from the clan if they were to learn their heritage. |

@Morningbreeze, open to interact As Snowwhisper walks ahead Minkfur is left alone once again at the tail of the group. She huffs out an exasperated sigh. Elders were supposed to be respected, right? Minfur certainly looks fearsome, towering over the vast majority of her clanmates. Her scars also added to that image she had built up over the years; a strong, fearless warrior with no flaws to be seen and not a soft bone in her body. I shouldn't be upset for being alone, strong elders can be alone. She glances around the area, noticing Morningbreeze swiping at a small pond on the path. Worried she would be left behind, Minkfur prepares to bark at the former Shadowclan deputy to get back on the path. However Morningbreeze herself notices and catches up. Grumbling to herself about how irritating her leg was, Minkfur presses on. Breammist- She/Her- Warrior @Quailbristle, Lilacivy Breammist's fur bristles and her ears flatten when she feels a presence to her left, fearing her father to return. However it's just a small tabby warrior….. Quailbite? Quailbranch? Quailbramble? Breammist didn't know many Thunderclan cats so her knowledge of names was fairly limited. While her fur quickly calms she still keeps her ears pressed flat against her head. How embarrassing someone overheard. "I'm…… it's fine really, he's just grumpy from the trip. Yelling at him would just make all of us more anxious, right?" She tries to send a smile Quailbriars(?) way, but it looks extremely forced. Turning back to Lilacivy, she gives him the same pained smile. "I'm alright truly….. Sorry for bumping into you. I guess we are all a bit on edge right now huh?" She appreciates the tom's soothing tone, and she allows herself to calm a little. She was surrounded by a deputy and a warrior who seemed to bear her no ill will. Now that her heart has calmed, a rare spike of anger flared. Who was Brokenclaw to start ranting out of the blue? Around other warriors, no less? I'm not going to talk to him for a while. He can deal with me not being around him. |
