Robinfeather sneered at the new information, learning that his leader had been a half-blood this entire time? It felt like a betrayal (ironic). He had sacrificed himself to save the clan, but wasn't even true to who his ancestry was. Robinfeather, who had squeezed his way closer to the front looked at Magpie who was looking up to the sky. With his tongue dipped in poison, he spoke. "He was a half-blood?" Fadedpaw - MCA - she/they - Location: Sun's Garden@anyone She turned her head to Magpie, the elderly cat grieving her kin, cut in by the tom she had conflicted emotions about. He had spoken loud enough for her to have heard, taking her attention from Lilacivy who was doing his best to keep the clan calm and collected. The look on her father's face sent a chill down her spine. How dare he be upset about Applestar's heritage when he himself had a secret family. It made her fur stand on end. |

Stormclaw-Warrior-He/him-Location: Sun's Garden@Amberblaze Stormclaw had to dig his claws into the ground to keep himself grounded. His eyes began searching for the familiar pelt of Amberblaze, and he was a bit surprised to see them slinking along the ground among their clanmates. "Amberblaze?" He questioned softly, low enough so she could hear him but not loud enough to gain the attention of those around them. From the sound of it, Lilacivy was trying to gather what remained of their clan, and he respected the deputy more for his calmness despite the intensity of the moment. Carefully he moved towards Amberblaze, weaving around their clanmates in order to get to her. He felt a tad anxious but being around Amberblaze always made him feel brave and reassured. Cloversong-Elder-She/her-Location: Sun's Garden@Goldbreeze Cloversong felt a little reassured by Goldbreeze's closeness, it was soothing to be able to have something or someone next to her to let her know she wasn't swimming in darkness. She heard Nightglory say something about mud and the elder made a disgusted face. "As if we aren't filthy enough as it is. I'll never be able to wash the stink out of my fur." The black furred elder grumbled loudly. The idea of remaining dirty did nothing but irritate the newly made elder. She pricked her ears as she heard Lilacyivy speaking on behalf of Stormclan. "I always liked that cat. Knows what he's doing." She commented, calming slightly. While she wasn't thrilled about covering herself in mud and what not, she respected the fact that at least somecat knew what was going on. ~~~~~~~~ @Robinfeather, Magpie, Fadedpaw Skystripe wasn't directly up front but she was close enough to hear Robinfeather's harmful words. Her heart ached with sympathy for Magpie, she couldn't imagine the pain that came with losing kits. No matter how old a cat became, they would always be kits to their mothers. She wrapped her tail protectively around Littlepaw and Newpaw, who were now sitting beside her. Her heart beat loudly within her chest. Skystripe never wanted that Starclan awful snakeheart (Robinfeather) anywhere near their... no... her kits. She had to protect them no matter what, she was all they had. Though her gaze flickered to Fadedpaw. It wasn't entirely true, they had the young medicine cat too. But whether Fadedpaw knew or even wanted anything to do with her younger half-siblings, Skystripe was uncertain. |

TreePaw ~ She/Her ~ Apprentice@Requested interaction with MorningSkies TreePaw was the only cat(from Storm Clan) that she knew of that actually paused for a moment to thank AppleStar's sacrfice. His other lives were likely gone along with Star Clan, and she had to appreciate what he did before she noticed anyone else. Looking around, the other cats around her seemed discusted. Maddened, even. She noticed all the distrust returning into the Clowder's eyes and she huffed softly, her tail flicking. They could have at least pretended to accept them. By now TreePaw was sure this was a norm, and this would seem so, so honerable to them. and the other cat's, merely by not being aware, caused the Clowders to distrust themselves more. She couldnt blame everyone else for not thinking to connect dots, though, she was raised on being annalytical. She soon walked next to MorningSkies, and stayed silent though she hoped by the small glances at her mentor that she had a few questions. Mostly about where leadership would stand, and weather she would need a new mentor or not. She was nine moons old, so she clearly couldnt be a Warrior yet. so what would happen with her? Loose Orchid "Orchid" ~ She/He/They ~ SentinelOrchid's ears pin to her head as she narrows her eyes at the new commers. They seemed distrot at their small leader's sacerfice. How dare they. she watches as a beacon-cat(white cat) growls "How Dare you!" and an older cat stops her, her ears twitch and a glint of respect appears in the navy blue and gold tabby's eyes. That older cat even being through the fight with nightwalkers, still had enough strangth to slash at one of her own for disrespecting the Clowder's traditions(Well, maybe not just for that, it was probably more about their leader being kin of some kind, but Orchid chose the believe otherwise.). In Orchid's eyes, any of these cats could be trustworthy, though some much less then others. And she wouldn't trust them until she was given reason to. When Nightglory took over Orchid went to take her place of guard |

Amberblaze - warrior - they/sheThe she slunk carefully, now following the sound of Stormclaw's voice. Amberblaze didn't care much about what Lilacivy was saying, they were an obedient warrior who understood that the deputy was right and was to be followed. Of course, he could also be considered leader now if the clan thought hard enough about it. Nonetheless, they wouldn't turn their back on any of the instructions given to them by those of Sun's Garden, especially because they'd already experienced enough loss. It didn't take long to reach the tom she was looking for. "Stormclaw," they brushed their head against his shoulder, "I'm so glad to see you. I'm sorry we got so separated." The warmth of his fur had directly battled the chill of the stares from the residents of Sun's Garden, and Amberblaze was beyond thankful. It was all quite odd. Never had Amberblaze expected Nightglory of all cats (creatures?) to turn her back on them. The Heiress had seemed confident, kind, and curious, but she had never seemed to harbor ill will for these outsiders. Perhaps their survival is what spooked the others as it was a feat not often accomplished. Of course, those in Sun's Garden never saw the fullest numbers of the clan, so they wouldn't understand just how many lives were lost the prior night. On the other hand, nearly all of the cats bore scars or injury from battle and were caked in muck, but perhaps those of Sun's Garden just thought that the muck was their attempt to blend in. |

Stormclaw-Warrior-He/him-Location: Sun's GardenThe silver tom's eyes lit up the moment he saw Amberblaze. He felt their head brush against his shoulder and he felt a small wave of calm wash over him. Stormclaw couldn't help the purr of relief that followed, grateful that the warrior he had grown rather fond of was safe. He managed to quiet down the purring in order to speak. "It's okay, I'm just glad you're safe." He answered truthfully. The warrior glanced towards where Lilacivy and Nightglory were standing and flicked his ear, a little uncertain of what to do now. He knew that Nightglory was to lead them to where they would be staying but he could see the reluctance practically radiating off of her. What had happened to the she-cat who had been so welcoming only moments prior? Stormclaw gave a dismissive shake of his head before looking back to Amberblaze, eyes soft. "We're going to be okay." He said. He knew there was no certainty and he knew that Amberblaze was smart, she would know that. But it felt important to say it out loud, and though he knew knew they could fend for themselves, Stormclaw internally vowed to do whatever he could to protect her. |

@Crowheart He shuffled forwards, cuffing a brutish warrior with a brown pelt to move so he could get a better look. Applestar looked so…peaceful. serene even. He had never seen the leader in such a calm state. He was always running around, looking for work, or fretting about this or that. It felt so, so inatural. It made a sick feeling burn in his gut. "I'm trying. It's just a single life.. he'll come back.. he'll come back.." Xe muttering soothing words to xemself, xer tail twitching violently. Xe were breathing quick, shallow breaths, and xe twitched as Crowheart pressed against him, looking ill. "Are you alright?" Featherspire whispered, keeping their eyes on Applestar's ginger body being carried away. They were instructed to make disguises out of debris in the woods. Maybe they and Crowheart.. maybe Fadedpaw could go. They needed cats they could trust in. Despite the crowd, Featherspire felt so, so alone. Blizzardwhisker — She/Her — Deaf @Little Brown Blizzardwhisker must've been too late, as Little Brown meowed something, assumably in dismay or a question about what was happening. She sighed, and lay the kitten down between her forepaws, curling her tail around his small body. "I…Im not shure. But he will come back." It sounded more like a wish then a statement. Wolfsbane — Novice Firekeeper — He/Him @Nightglory, anyone else Wolfsbane, alongside the other Firekeepers had helped in taking the ginger tabby's body to the pyre. He smelt of blood and vaguely lemongrass, and his pelt kept tickling Wolfsbane's nose as he walked. He was quiet, but couldn't help but feel excited. new cats! i hope they're cool. They seemed so mad. i wonder why? i mean, surely everyone does this. How else would they survive? I liked that black and white one. She cared about this tom a lot. She looked a bit like him too. Was she his mom? I wonder if outsiders have different bones then us. I want to know… Maybe i'll come by later, when Ghostspipe isn't making me pick the fleas from his pelt. It's not my fault he chose a old dirty boar hide as a cover. The young point's thoughts raced a mile a minute as he thought of the newcomers. Applestar's body was placed in the pyre, his ginger fur turning smoky black as the flames scorched his body. Wolfsbane watched for a moment, wrinkling his nose at the smell of burning flesh, until a fellow Firekeeper came by and herded him back to the cats. He pricked his ears as a explanation about proper hidewear was being discussed. Shoving through the array, he came to Heiress's side and without a hint of respect, meowed, "Nightglory, you should let me deal with finding covers. I'm good at that stuff, i'm no scout, but please?" He sideeyed the clan cats, eagerly watching a few of the younger cats of the clan, two tortoiseshells and a ginger-and-white. "I'm great at finding stuff like that." he eagerly wagged his tail almost dogish, the bear teeth around his head clacking together. |

Crowheart - Warrior - he/him - Location: Sun's Garden@Featherspire Crowheart was quiet for several heartbeats before mumbling something about being sorry. He gave his chest a few awkward licks, looking embarrassed that he had leaned against Featherspire. Thoughts about Applestar and Darkstar were still whirling around in his head, but he forced himself to focus on Nightglory's instructions. Speaking of Nightglory, the young she-cat's attitude had changed from when StormClan first arrived. But she had given out instructions and those were what mattered. "Mud... perfect for our wounds," he muttered, eyeing the forest they had just been in. Sunset wasn't far away, and Crowheart wrinkled his nose at the thought of cold, slimy mud covering his pelt. Little Brown - Kit - he/him - Location: Sun's Garden@Blizzardwhisker "U-Um there's also this fire-" Little Brown's eyes were wide with dread when Blizzardwhisker set him down on the ground. He heard Blizzardwhisker's oddly-pronounced words and looked up at her. "How? Is he immortal?" he asked. But he had seen Applestar slump to the ground with his very own eyes. Is he just asleep? But why isn't he waking up because of the fire? The kit's fur was fluffed out in worry, but his ears were perked with curiosity. |

Snowwhisper - Warrior - he/him - Location: Sun's Garden@Nightglory, Caladium He'd have to cover his fur, mud, leaves, feathers, etc.. Based on the lack of white cats in this camp, he quickly understood why. Snowwhisper didn't want to lose another limb, but he was tired. He'd do it in the morning. He looked ahead of the clan to where Nightglory was, waiting for her to lead them. He knew once he placed his head on whatever nest was available, he'd be out. Turning his head while he waited, his eyes caught those of amber, looking as if they were studying him. He took a look at the tom who was staring at him, a long brown pelt mixed with mud and feathers. He looked like he was just larger, height and muscle, and it made Snowwhisper shiver knowing that he was a small cat in comparison to this group. He looked back up to meet his eyes, but he was already surveying the other clan cats. |

@Quailbristle At least Lilacivy has his head on straight Minkfur thinks, silently thanking the tom for his leadership. She gazes upon the other cats of Sun's Garden, noting the mud and feathers and...... were those bear fangs? The older tabby lets out a huff. These cats were really sick in the head, wearing such heavy items and sacrificing their own kin. As she gazes around she spots a familiar dark tabby. Padding up to Quailbristle she soflty touches her shoulder with her nose, letting her kin know her precience. She wasn't good with words and didn't know what to say to her younger friend and hoped at least her being there would be calming. |

Morning'Skies - Deputy - She/Her - Location: The Suns Garden@Treepaw She saw lilacivy turn towards the clan saying to seek out either him or herself for questions. She realized as a deputy she probably should have gone up there and stood by him as the leadership was between themselves currently, not very leader-like of her to stay where she was. Idiot, She scolded herself. Morning'Skies decided to go up there before she got the chance though she saw her apprentice, Treepaw, come over to stand by her out of the corner of her eye. Treepaw! I'm glad she's safe. She saw Treepaw look at her a few times, assuming it was because she had questions. Morning'Skies looked at her apprentice "I assume you have questions, i will answer them soon after we get settled. I'm going up to stand by lilacivy now." She walked through the crowd careful to not step on anyone, and got to lilacivy standing beside him. "Yes please look to either of us for questions." She raised her voice ever so slightly to reach the back of the clan. Morning'Skies turned to Nightglory, "Thank you for the help." Gold'Breeze - Warrior - She/Her - Location: The Suns GardenGold'Breeze watched as lilacivy went and spoke for Stormclan, where was the other deputy though? She wondered. She quietly laughed at Cloversongs comment, "Not my idea of fun either." Gold'Breeze listened to lilacivy and agreed with Cloversong he was a good deputy, and knew what was going on. (Not much to say for either and didn't have much time) |
