am i correct in my understanding that giving the jellyfish to your lead ahead of time spares you the 25 gc early retirement fee and just immortalizes them at the ripe age of 8?

and if so, how does this interact with your lead also being your breeding male? i currently see no new options for my lead (they don't show up in the item dropdown and i don't see anything on the retirement page) so i'm assuming the breeding male scenario wasn't accounted for, meaning i would still need to pay the whole 45 gc to immortalize them on their last day (or at the very least separately pay for the breeding male status removal at some point before they pass).

would be really nice it if that fee could also be avoided with this new implementation (again, assuming that's how it works). if one could be avoided, i fail to see why the other couldn't. i do not wish to retire them any earlier than they'd naturally go, but since i want them immortalized i'd still be forced into some form of payment on top of the already expensive slots and items.

honestly feels like this update should be applied to all breeding males in general, regardless of them being leads. since they, the same as leads, require payment to be removed from their role, they should also be allowed to pass natirally into immortality free of extra charge. "retiring" them for immortalizing at the last moment isn't exactly "retiring early", you're not trying to drop them at 2 years old or something.
but i guess this is something to take over to the game development board.

anyways, sorry it got a little ranty, i still really appreciate the update!
