i really think and believe owners of traveling wolves should choose if they want their wolves to breed or not. |

But if a host spends their own resources breeding pups, that's also time and effort. Maybe not as much, but it still is. Plus, the pups are their own as they're in the host's den, being cared for by the host. The owner of the mother would have agreed to this occurring, especially if there's a toggle to allow breeding. That's a promise-based transaction that should be honored, yeah? Not respecting promises is why this discussion is happening. Saying that it's not the same and it's the mother's owner's right to do as they please implies promise-based transactions are optional, which is taking one step forward, two steps back. |

Off-site advertising where a wolf being a traveller might not be obvious (e.g discord) I think a warning should be Included with traveling wolves (or perhaps In the gift page?) That users can retract the wolf at any time and "Trading" (Sending another gift with items over) items for a traveling wolf is an unfaithful trade and likely a scam. Its a new feature, new players are joining every day and are using social medias to figure out the game and its just yet another place possible scams could arise from at least having this would be nice! (It could be disabled through settings for people aware, just like the pup protection :) |

@⌘Tallbarr⌘I agree! I do understand the concerns about the pups, but I didn't know people bred travelers to keep the pups - I always thought it was about the lore and giving the wolf a family. The idea of a toggle button for whether or not they're allowed to breed does seem sensible, but if I send out a wolf and they're allowed to have pups I know I'd personally want them to stick together, whether they come back home to me or not. Family is important to me though, so many may think differently. Pocket costs for breeding a traveler does seem like it should fall to the host of the wolf since otherwise I suppose people could 'abuse' the owner's SC stash for pups that the owner will never see. But I do understand that people don't want to pay. I don't believe that any owner (although, again, I probably believe in nice, Halmark, cotton candy clouds) would be like 'you have to breed my traveler or else,' but it makes sense for whoever keeps the pups to pay for them, whether it be owner or host And the idea of runaway and chased travelers coming home to the owner (pack spaces of owner willing ofc) would be a dream! I have seen more wolves lost to runaways than I thought I ever would. Although I don't think the chased travelers should get re-rolls or become gen1s, they should be allowed a chance to come home. Showing up under the owner's den as a runaway for the owner to claim (I don't think that there should be an SC fee to take them back) for perhapse a smaller fee and what is required to amuse/feed them again would be nice. And I do have a question which my sister and I have been pondering over for quite a while, what do runaways do with all that SC anyways? (we have a joke for it but I'm really curious if it goes back into the game through explore or something for others to find) |
