true on that. I am glad the the devs are very fair with their prices and such but still, Paying for features is very common in games these days where it just gets annoying.
At least there's no premium stuff going here really.

There's a big difference between paying with easily obtainable in game currency like SC and actual money. I know paying is common in games but this isn't actual money. If anything, you're paying with your time.

This update would lift a huge weight off my shoulders, ever since my traveler has been gaining more and more custom decor, I've fret that somebody might strip him of his decor and chase him

I think if there is a unique type of slot for traveling wolves, there has to be some sort of trade off. Otherwise you're getting wolves that can work for and boost your pack without actually paying to increase your pack. Either:
1. You'd have to pay for slots
2. The wolves would not be able to breed / have rolls / be able to contribute to the pack

Otherwise the feature is too open to abuse, which is probably why the original ideas for the feature included no breeding/roles

Not much to add besides echoing...I have heard about traveling wolves before and felt it was not worth the risks, but with these safeguards implemented as official features, I will likely give it a try!

The discussion is great and I'm curious to read the devs' responses to the various questions, suggestions, and concerns.

This response by @Msasi#204 sums up my feelings so far: "I feel like it should be fairly basic, unobtrusive, and easily ignored by players who have no interest in it, without feeling like they are missing out."

Well either way, this is a wonderful idea and interesting feature. I am actually getting a bit hyped for this as i do wanna try a traveler (I also wanted to but i wasn't sure for obvious reasons).

Tbh, I care little about a traveler breeding but know that many (Not everyone) commonly allow it.
I Would however love it if the traveler (I'd call them Explorer for my own preference :"D) would gain Some Exp during their travels. It'd make sense at least esp if it'd be a role and the owner would want their wolf to level up.
I personally would like it. ^ ^

I never bothered with traveling wolves before, because I felt the risk was too high. If this was to be implemented, I would be very excited to  participate. i can imagine all the lore possibilities that I could add.
