A Twisted FateA hero is not always the victorโฆI didn't do it! Blood dripped from my hands, and I couldn't rip my gaze from them. Sirens shouted in the distance, but the realisation of what I had done muffled the sounds around me. Tears built up in my green eyes, and ran down my face. Standing up, I dashed away from the scene, my heart thumping and my gaze darting at every little sound.~+~+~ A year had passed since that incident, and she was never caught. Sometimes, a villain is the winner in a story. This is the story of Paeon, a story of betrayal, revenge, and mystery. Chapter one: The barnFootsteps could be heard getting closer and closer, leaves crunching under the boots of the approaching person. The dense forest hid the stranger from sight, the leaves and branches acting like a shelter. The barn was a looming structure, and thunder cackled in the horizon. |
