I'm close to half an hour to my work and it's a beautiful drive. |

The drive to my boss's house is absolutely stunning in the autumn. I sometimes take care of her barn when she is on vacation. There is one hill that is so majestic that you can almost see forever. It's not as grand of a view as the great plains where the sky never ends, but the closest to it that I've seen in my neck of the Midwest. |

About 15 minutes for me, I have a Mesa overlooking a valley. |

And in the winter it has a ski resort. In the summer a mountain bike slope with lifts. |

Not much of a skier or a biker but I am sure the views are to die for |

It is. Even in the winter. Once I was riding. We had a cloudy day, but when we got to the top of the Mesa, it was sunny. |

The most mystic view I get here is heavy fog. I was driving in fog so thick once that I couldn't see more than 10 feet in front of me. This is the fog that has folklore of people going missing in it. It is beautiful and terrifying. It is my favorite weather. |
