Alpine nodded, quickly turning around with a small bow. Leaving the conversation, she decided to go hunt. Hoarfrost The scout glanced at Alpine as she scurried off, slightly concerned for the aging wolf. He shook his head, his large white mane shaking with it. There was no way he could convince Alpine to slow down. She was as stubborn as a rock. "Hello, Cailleach," he said flatly. "I've scented more foxes around the area. It should be a lot easier to spot them now, with the summer melts. Although, likewise, we are also more visible and therefore more vulnerable." He nodded at his own white pelt, then glanced at where Alpine had disappeared. "White is beginning to stand out, but autumn will come along soon enough, and bring snows. I can feel it getting colder, so we should track down the foxes now if we don't want them stealing our prey." Finishing his report, he sat down, curling his fluffy tail around his legs. |

CailleachCailleach seems to approve of the idea to scout the foxes out "It might be best for you to scout them out, I can send Gaelach out too if needed but she may prove to be an... unsavoury partner for such an outing" she looked pensively towards her shared den, concerned with the whereabouts of her mate. "I don't think she quite fit to go out at the moment, something has been off with her" she looks back to Hoarfrost "take whoever you see fit for this endeavour, and like I told Alpine, Stay Safe. the rains have made the ground dangerous" Cailleach then trots off in search of her partner |

The male nodded and bowed deeply, scampering off. He didn't need anyone else, and besides, everyone else in the pack seemed to be busy. He began to hike up the mountain trail, tilting his head and and listening for any of the high-pitched yelps. Finding a scent, he began to track it, slowly approaching an Arctic Fox den. "Aha," he muttered softly, his tail low and his eyes cold. "Found you." Alpine The old wolf leapt up onto a rock, stretching her creaky bones, and sniffed the ground. Finding a few arctic hares, she snuck up on them and swiftly killed two, setting the others running. Cracking a rare smile, she picked up the carcasses and walked back to camp with another stretch. Not seeing the Alpha anywhere, she settled in the cave she shared with a few others, sitting down and starting to groom the blood off of her paws. |

Atila yawned and stretched, approaching the Beta, wanting to cheer her up. She seemed to be lonely. "Hey, Alaska," she said with a grin. "Wanna go exploring?" Her pale brown paws danced eagerly on the ground, and a spark lit in her eye. |

Nix stood up and licked Phoenix's face, Phoenix was turning red. "Stop it!" He yelled in more of a playful voice, "What? It's cute when you blush!" Phoenix knew that Nix was joking and yet still fell for his trick. Flare Flare saw the two play together, she rolled her eyes at them. "Get a room you two love birds!" She low growled, "Aww, your just jealous!" Phoenix walked over to her and sat next to her, leaving Nix behind. "I am not!" Moon said with a bit of an attitude along with a British accent. |

Blossom PackLantern The fire-colored wolf smiled, waving over at the others. "I'm done with herbs for today," she called. "Well, at least, done with some stuff. Just too tired to do more today. I'll work on it tomorrow. Anyway. Wanna go hunting?" Pumpkin Pumpkin had woken up from her nap, and had been grooming herself. "Wait, can I join?" The scout yelled. She stood up too quickly and ended up tripping over her paws, landing in an undignified heap on the ground. Annoyed, she blew fur out of her eyes and grinned at Lantern. |

Water PackHoarfrost Hoarfrost crouched, ready to kill the invading foxes. They were sure to burrow into their little dens the moment he appeared, so he needed to choose the right ones to attack. Perhaps if he killed the kits, the mother would be enraged enough to stay out of her den to try to kill him. Shaking his mane with gruesome reasoning in his head, Hoarfrost leapt up and slammed his paws down on the tiny, playing fox kits, killing them in a single blow. Another one tottered away, and he snapped his teeth at it, crushing the tiny life between his teeth. They will grow up to steal our food if we don't stop them, he told himself. Turning to the shocked, snarling mother, Hoarfrost leapt at her, landing on top of her and slashing his claws across her chest. Surprisingly strong, she threw him off and raked her claws across his chest, her dark eyes furious. Hoarfrost's paw quickly encircled her mouth, his teeth lodging themselves in her neck. The fox was dead. There were more, of course, but the problem had been lessened by five annoying foxes. Turning back with his white muzzle stained red, he reached the Water Pack camp, greeting Alpine and sitting down next to her. He glanced around. "Where's the Alpha?" He asked gruffly. Alpine The old female shrugged. "Beats me. Probably with her mate," she replied in as few words as possible. She licked her spotless paws, stretching daintily. A few cracks were heard as she stretched. |

Water PackCailleach Cailleach comes from around a few boulders and trees, seemingly out of nowhere, and walks over to Alpine and Hoarfrost "how did everything go for you both?" she asks, almost as if shes impatient and wants to leave again but she still sits down next to both wolves and waits upon an answer |

The scout shrugged, pushing the mother fox's carcass forward. It's white fur was stained with blood, but it still shimmered in the light. Alpine Alpine laughed, a harsh, spiky laugh, like the sound of ice cracking. "Got a few rabbits," she said proudly, pushing her catch forward. The snow-white rabbits smelled quite enticing. Pearl Hearing the older wolves, Pearl respectfully nodded at her mother and left their shared den— a hollow log, and glanced over. "Good catch," she said solemnly, bowing first to the alpha, then to her mentor, and finally to her uncle. |
