Lantern nodded, gently licking Lake's mouth again, as it had begun to bleed. She was losing so much blood— but she had nothing to patch up her wounds with. "Just because it feels better doesn't mean it is better," Lantern warned, before padding away. She found a small stream nearby. With a piece of moss, Lantern soaked up a bit of water before returning, nudging it at Lake. "Just take it slow," she told her gently. "You'll be fine," she said, more in assuring herself than Lake. Lantern couldn't believe that Lake was still alive. |

Lake was mumbling incoherently. Raven? Who's Raven? Lantern thought, before staring bleakly at Lake. "You're hallucinating," she said softly, licking the blood from her wounds again. She couldn't help feeling like she should do more, but this was the least she could do to ease her pain. "It's okay. I'm here. It's Lantern, from Blossom Pack, remember?" She smiled gently, her eyes sadly glancing at Lake's. "You're..." Lantern paused, blinking tears away. "I... I don't want you to die." She looked away, closing her eyes tightly. "But... yes. It's... possible." That was an understatement. It was most likely, but Lantern shoved that thought away. |

"Who's Raven?" Lantern asked gently. "Lake? You're here with me. Lantern." She wished she could offer a nuzzle or a hug, but she didn't want to touch her for fear it would make her wounds worse. |

Feeling terrible for Lake, Lantern smiled sadly, wiping warm tears away. "Yea, I'm Raven. I'm here for you. It's okay, Lake. Just be strong, okay?" |
