Continuing to follow the scent, he looked up to see the wolf he was looking for. Perhaps it was luck, or some twist of fate, that he had ended up directly in front of Alaska, who was moving quickly. Very quickly, as a matter of fact. He moved out of the way in a less-than-graceful fashion, not wanting to get run into by someone he was supposed to bring back.

Blizzard ran after her, she hid when she saw Alaska almost ran into another wolf. She dropped onto her belly and crawled under a bush.

He looked around at where the two of them were before looking back at her.
"I'm afraid not…" He cleared his throat. "She…didn't make it." He let that sink in before continuing. "The others need you back at camp to answer some of their questions."

she stood completely still shocked "what- she- SHE SAID SHE WOULD BE FINE" she growled "i should have listened to my gut" she grumbled turning away and muttering something about whos fault it was and some other stuff

Letting Alaska talk to herself for a bit, Lark felt somewhat guilty in breaking the news. Then again, if he hadn't, someone else would've…Ugh. He still had to deal with drama no matter what, it seemed.
"…Are you okay?" He asked tentatively. The answer was obviously 'no', but he couldn't help but ask anyway.
He was unsure on whether or not Alaska was in any mood to return to camp, especially following the death of one of her friends, but Lark had offered to find her, and he wasn't going to leave until she agreed to come back.
