The shaggy wolf nodded grimly, bowing to the Alpha. "I will make sure to exterminate the rest of the pests," he said quietly. "They will not get away with stealing our prey." Alpine Alpine tossed the rabbit carcasses into their food stores— an icy cave that never seemed to melt, even in summer. She walked back, nodding at her apprentice, Pearl. Her wrinkled face split into a tiny wry smile as she looked at her, proud. Pearl was nearly an adult, a good hunter, as well as being respectful and hardworking. She was a star student, and perhaps she would live up to her mother's expectations. Icicle Following her daughter, she watched, detached, as the Alpha walked away. "Good catch," she echoed, nodding at Alpine. Her piercing glare moved to her daughter, who bowed respectfully, her eyes trained on hers. "Are you ready for your evaluation? You'll become a hunter in two days if you pass," Icicle told Pearl as though she didn't already know. Pearl Pearl nodded at her mother. "I am," she said quietly, internally panicking at the words, if you pass. |

Blossom PackSunny She came back into the camp after taking a long walk and found that a hunting party was about to head out. "Mind if I join the hunt?" She asked them, a hopeful grin on her face. The long walk had not been enough for her muscles. Tempest They greeted Sunny as she came back into camp. "Hello, Beta!" She smiled. "Apparently everyone wants to join that hunting party!" They continued. |

Blossom PackLantern The golden wolf nodded, smiling. She shook out her paws as if they were numb, and stretched. "The more, the merrier," Lantern said with a grin. Pumpkin Pumpkin nodded eagerly, trying not to bounce too much, as she'd already fallen over more than once today. That was quite enough embarrassing herself for the day. Water PackHoarfrost The scout nodded solemnly at Poltergeist. "I found a whole den of them," he said, looking bored and yet fierce at the same time. "Managed to kill the kits. There's still a few around, but that's five less to deal with in the long run." He shook his scraggly mane, narrowing his eyes at the other wolf in an observational manner. He began to scratch his neck with his back leg. Pearl The adolescent glanced up as well. She couldn't help asking, "Do you think I'm ready for my evaluation?" Her voice was tight and solemn. She shook her mane just as her uncle had, and tried her best to look serene and serious, as her mother did. Hvitur Though he heard sounds in the other side of the camp, Hvitur decided not to go see what was happening. He'd hear about it later if it was important, and if not, it'd be a waste of time. He began to crush herbs with a short, squat stick, preparing more frostbite ointment for the harsh autumn— and winter to come. He'd already stocked up plenty. |

Fire PackSun The hunter has returned to camp with a few weasels and a rabbit. He glanced at the Beta and his student as they walked away, smiling fondly. He was glad that Alaska was making friends. Atila Atila smiled at the Beta, glad that she was talking. They began to pad through the woods, chatting a bit. "Have you ever seen a cougar?" Atila asked her, her eyes stinging with curiosity. "I've heard they're really big and have long tails like vines!" |

Nix looked at Phoenix, "Go with them, you're lead hunter after all." He nudged Phoenix to go. Phoenix looked at Nix, then the hunt team. He walked over to the group. Nix looks back at Pumpkin, "You can lay around but I want you up and ready to scout first thing in the morning." He looked quite serious. Phoenix Phoenix walked over to the hunting team, "Ready to hunt and is this all that's going?" He questioned as he looked around to see other wolves talking to each other. |

The wolf nodded, glancing around. "It's me, you, Sunny, and Pumpkin." She said to Phoenix, padding up to them. Pumpkin "Of course!" Pumpkin nodded energetically, bouncing forward and nearly touching noses with Nix. She quickly backed up, embarrassed. "Sorry," she mumbled, still grinning from ear to ear. |

Nix looked at Pumpkin, "If your trying to flirt with me then it's not working." He tried not to laugh, yet he failed because the next thing he knows. He's on the ground laughing with his back on the ground and belly exposed. Phoenix "Alright, is everyone ready to go?" Phoenix looked around to see other wolves near him. He sat down with patience. |
