Trotting along for a while, Lark sniffed the ground and scanned his surroundings. Wherever Alaska had run off to, familiar location or not, he'd have to follow, lest he wanted to return back to camp empty-pawed. He hoped that if…when, he brought her back to the others, they wouldn't immediately do anything rash.

Lark
Continuing onwards, he paused. Prints. Sniffing intently for a while, his head shot up. Bingo. They were old and the scent which was present was faint, but it was Alaska's. Increasing his pace, he hoped to catch up to her. He'd already spent quite a while out here, and the sooner he could get this done, the better. He doubted the others would appreciate being kept waiting, anyway.
