Or if we take idea from warrior cats into the wild- water pack wanted more territory to hunt during winters (as winters are harsh in tundra) so they snatched Birch pack's territory and like windclan, Birch pack had to leave

Hmm, I like the natural cause story better…
Because Water Pack is very well-adapted to their surroundings (which I'm pretty sure is a snowy mountain and not tundra) and I don't think they'd need more land~
They don't have it currently either way…

yea sounds good but i have my ideas too like just a strange sounds,dispenser,illness,and land going bare but the pack left and what you said btw lake was a year old when she got kicked out 		spider in the garden
