Hmm.
Now I don't know what Aloe would do. He has no sense of attachment or loyalty to his pack, the only reason he's there is to survive. And he especially has no attachment to Cardinal, who's been bullying him for basically forever.
I don't think he would rescue her, to be honest. He doesn't believe in being nice, since he doesn't think it works, and he also cares a lot more for his own life— literally his huge character flaw, he cares about nothing but his life.
I don't think he'd put his own life at risk to rescue someone who hates him…

Yeah but if he has a little bit of sense then he would save her. Just imagine, he tells the pack that Cardinal is dead, Aloe would be accused of killing Cardinal because everyone in the pack knows that he hated her and when the pack will know that he killed her, they would kill him.

Hmm… I don't know, I still think as a split-second decision he wouldn't want to risk his life on it. Maybe later, if she did die, he'd regret it… but he's not the type to play hero, more like he'd just get frozen in terror XD
So… either we change the situation, or we continue with this and have Cardinal survive? I mean… unless you want to get rid of her…

I guess it's:
Option 1: Change the situation, Cardinal does not have trouble with the elks and manages to chase one
Option 2: Aloe does something completely uncharacteristic and puts his life in danger
Option 3: Cardinal survives without Aloe's intervention and tells everyone that he didn't help her
Option 4: Cardinal dies, Aloe either leaves or faces the consequences

I'd choose either option 2 or 3, if I choose option 3, Aloe's gonna be in danger when Cardinal confronts him and their relationship will be more ruined and Aloe might also be exiled from the pack. If you choose option 2, Aloe will be praised by all, Cardinal will start loving him but not that way (I guess you know what I'm talking about) and he might also get promoted. Now you decide.
