More realistic markings/bases need to be added.

Title says about everything that I would like to convey.

I get so excited to hear about new bases and new markings being added, only to find out that the bases and/or markings are not realistic. I wish to run a pack of naturally colored wolves, not some menagerie of borderline rainbow dogs. While new things are always appreciated, those of us who run a strict 'no lunar/event marking' pack are left in the dust.

I would like more natural bases. A dusty rose, or a peach color. Instead of tiger stripes that look like they were drawn by a two-year old in preschool art class (looking at you, veneer. And sprite.) or legitimately some random blobs on a pelt that have no rhyme or reason but just to 'look cool' (.. cough, ornate blotches.)

Truthfully, I do not care whether or not this is implemented or even thought about beyond reading this. I struggle to keep lunar and event marks out of my pack. Simply put, I would like more options.

Anyone's thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated.

I agree, though I do feel that insulting the markings we do have is a bit uncalled for. I understand everyone has a preference and fantasy is not your preference, but you don't necessarily need to compare current markings to a toddler's doodles (derogatorily) in order to make suggestions for new markings and bases.

That being said, I do agree that more variety needs to be brought in for both markings and bases, and I'm sure we'll see more of that as the game ages and develops. Lately most of everything has been leaning heavily into the cool spectrum (purples, blues, greens), and it has caused the warm and monochrome spectrum to be a bit neglected. Currently most wolves are going to be some form of purple, blue, or green because that is what is the most available right now. There needs to be something to expand the warm and monochrome roster because purples, blues, and greens are really hard to work with when you breed natural or warm based wolves.

Hello!

Per our Game Development Guidelines, suggestions for bases, markings, and other wolf traits are not currently being accepted by the developers. As such, we've locked this topic. Thank you for understanding!
