So Lorcan coming with us to meet Faelcu despite everywolf else's will, it seemed? Of course, the plot gave us one extra character to the cast. I was given a choice whether to tell Lorcan to stay or come with us, I hardly believed I had any influence since this pup wouldn't listen to his mother.
If I told him to come with us, he'd most likely go with us so I told him to stay since it had the least predictable outcome... and he listened to me. What? Ignored mother's advice, the elder didn't seem to had been asked but this seemingly completely stubborn wolf listened to a lead from another pack? It was indeed some random wolf after all.
New characters: Radha and Ailbhe were introduced. As the story went on, I decided that I would be obedient to Faelcu deals if it was possible for several reasons. First, despite all this quarrel regarding who had broken the oath, I believed Faelcu were honest to their word. Second, I expected the deal to be most likely sacrificing some elder wolf which would be okay solution in this world of fodder wolves. It would be even more interesting if we had to lose some level 20 or 4-digit stat wolf. Third, I wanted to use the opportunity that Lorcan was not there, who would most likely attack them making it impossible for peaceful meeting.
There was a mention about war with neighboring packs and my wolves missing. Pity it was just a mention. I wished it was true.
The previous time I had been worried about Sirona walking alone so when trying to do the Faelcu task I wanted Sirona to follow me. Also, the plot seemed to hint me that something unexpected would happen if I let Sirona go and I decided to be obedient to Faelcu thus my decision.
After choosing Sirona to follow me, I had a feeling it was a decision whether I would lose Sirona or Quany. Splitting could mean something would happen to Sirona while sticking together would mean we'd do the task much longer to the point that something would happen to Quany.
Once "herbs are poison" conspiracy was done, I was glad to see Quany was quite alright there. I appreciated the Faelcu recognized the lead as too much invested for somewolf from another pack. The plot was quite wicked as both Sirona and Quany were bound to a new oath they couldn't break but in the end the Faelcu let us choose whether we wanted Lowen or Conall back. And guess who was the one to choose: one of wolves from Chaorainn Pack that knew both these wolves very well, knew which of them was a better attribute to the pack and would stick around with either of them for the rest of the life? No! The wolf that has never seen one of them and met the other one only for a short time. Why would anywolf think I was the right one to ask?
I took a while to think. I could be interested to see how Lowen looked or had this mystery kept forever for another year. Conall was the missing leader that could defend the pack much better in case of war against other packs because of that conspiracy that had been spread. Lowen went missing in the beginning so he was just unlucky, while Conall was aware of the disappearance and went disappear anyway, which was reckless. Maeve really wished to find Lowen while Conall... who cared, he was more of a sidekick than a leader. Lowen was a heart decision, Conall was a brain decision. I chose Lowen - with Maeve, Oonagh and Malachy it would be a full, happy family. The pack will have a missing leader.
So that's a happy ending, huh? I didn't expect that my choices would reflect such outcome.
Wonderful story. I hope for more in the next year.
"A deal is a deal," Radha says, then adds: "And unlike you, we keep ours."
What about that time Bronagh failed to reunite with her pups after returning the changeling pups? Inconsistencies and I'm surprised that no one else caght that.
I'm just wondering does anyone know if Lorcan has a crush on the person that we're playing as and if so will they end up dating cuz I really want my character to date Lorcan and possibly have pups with him
