I'm a old user returning and I haven't been active in a long while. There are new mechanics and the events to catch up on, but there are two areas I could really use a mentor or some help with! 1. PRICING. Specifically how I should be pricing pups for sale, and what factors to consider when doing so. Also whether it's more worthwhile to sell via the trading center, forum post, or another method? (If anyone could help price the pups I currently have that would be wonderful....I went on a breeding spree) 2. Stats! I've always always struggled with learning stat mechanics. Wolvden's new system seems pretty straightforward but I'm still not sure what stats should be the focus for what roles, and this is making it hard to decide how to train pups/adols. If there is a guide for this I'd love to take a look! (Also, is there any particular stat I should be training sell pups for? Or is it better not to train them?) Thank you for looking! -Angel |

1. PRICING. Honestly, don't even sell your pups. Pups barely sell, even if they are T3. The only puppies that sell right now are the ones with the new Badger base, and first gen/second gen Tier 3s. If you were selling a pup for stats, its birth stats would have to be upwards of 700. Your pups might also sell better if they are T2 low gen genetic mutation carriers, or T3 carriers. Things that sell better are food and amusement. Amusement is going for a huge price right now. You can grind money through the events available. The lunar events that happen once a month are a great way to get money, and currently, the Coigreach event is paying a lot (it is almost over, though). People pay a lot for applicators (not grove applicators), rare trophies, and rare recipes. Another note- 1 GC goes for around 300 SC right now. It fluctuates, but you can always check the "GC for SC" sales on the trading center. I'd price a normal gen T3 wolf at around 3-5 GC. A Gen 2 T3 wolf, I'd price at around 15 GC, with offers on. A Gen 1 T3 wolf is incredibly valuable, so I would just let people offer and bid each other out. You can get up to 500 GC depending on the wolf. I've seen people pay 1000 GC if it is combined with a lot of rare traits (mutation, piebald, rare markings) Overall, for pricing puppies...I wouldn't even try to sell a T2 unless it has high stats+rare markings. Just sell T3s. Chase the others. 2. Stats! The stats are kind of hard to get a grasp on until you've played the game enough. Generally, when you breed a low stat wolf with a high stat wolf, the pup will have stats way closer to the low stat side. When you breed two high stat wolves, you get a high stat pup. Two low stats will produce...the puppies that we don't talk about (especially if they aren't T3). For hunting: The Stalker requires high Smarts and Wisdom. Chasers require high Agility and Speed. The Finisher requires high Strength. If you are training sell pups, train them for specific roles. If you have a pup that has higher smarts and wisdom, then train it to be a stalker. Try to get as much of a stat bonus in as you can. If you are training a finisher and you max out the bonus for Strength, just train some other stat they are low on. You definitely should train sell pups that don't have any rare traits. Again, if it isn't rare, it has to be high stats. If it is high stats, better to make it even higher. If it is a T3, don't worry too much. People care less about stats when it comes to T3s. However, if the only special quality it has is that it is a T3, definitely do some extra, because it will just give you more of a chance to sell. |
