They exist on the same territory as Aagwatz does -- but their trial is much different, as even the old spirits in Aagwatz's territory view them as intruders. Their lives are perilous. One could say "at least they have each other", but in truth, even that company is temporary. |

there may be no more than eight adult wolves at one time. if there are more than eight, then they attract the attention of one of the dangers of the territory and I have to do some rolling to see what happens. roll on a d-20. 1-10: the dispersals have outgrown their environment and suffer a natural disaster such as a flash flood. while other wolves would not find this an issue as they have territory and shelter to wait out in, the dispersals do not. roll 1d4, which will determine the amount of dispersals who die in the disaster. 11-17: the dispersals have attracted the attention of the Aagwatz. roll 1d10-4 to determine how many dispersals are killed in the attack. continue to make adjusted rolls until the "lone" count is down to six or below. 18-19: the dispersal wolves fall victim to a malevolent spirit. count them out, assign numbers to each, and roll three dice. These are the three survivors of the spirit's attack. All others die. 20: ruh roh. the "dispersal" wolves may not hunt in any of the +15 minute zones. additionally, if a hunter is wounded three times (to the point of needing medical care), they die, as opposed to retiring. |
