[LORE] Legends of the Sunplace ☀️

The High Court of the Suns Crown is reserved for the blood of the royal line, descending from the first Queen Halona and King Takoda, including their adoptive pups, Obelia and Ezhno. The next Crown King or Queen is chosen to be the eldest living pup of the current rulers, adoptive or biological.

The Court also includes the highest members of the Sunplace, including the Royal Seneschal, Royal Healer, Royal Seer and/or Royal Astronomer, and Royal Messenger(s). At the time of a new ruler, new members are chosen for these roles and past members remain in the Court of the Suns Crown until their natural deaths, excluding special circumstances.

Our current Crown King is King Takoda, ruling alongside with his mate, Queen Halona.

Next in line for the throne is either Princess Chardan or Princess Pillan, both biological daughters of Queen Halona. A series of three competitions will take place at the time of either rulers death, involving politics, physical combat, and finally a vote taken by all members of the Courts below the Suns Crown.
