Cairo went back to the exact spot he had been in before, and feigned deep sleep. It came to him somewhat naturally; he always used to pretend to be asleep when his parents came in on him as a dragonet anyways. Then he and his brother would sneak outside and watch the desert sky on the rooftop.

He felt a momentary pang of sadness, but recovered quickly. He had an act to keep up, and risking an animus's wrath could cost him dearly. He didn't even notice the rock that landed beside him.

(What does the rock do?)

Feeling a rock bonk him on the head, he pretended to wake up suddenly  with a loud shout.

"Ow!" he cried, rubbing his head. "This is why I like sand and not rocks." He grumbled.

(yea life lesson do not spy on storm shes been a spy alot of her life and knows almost everything about them plus she HATES being watched lol)

(Really? That's cool, Cairo is a spy too. Does she have a character sheet I can look at? I'd love to know more about her, and maybe they even worked for the same people at some point! :D )

He awoke Hawk, offering a small smile. "Rise and shine buddy!" He pretended to look around confused. "Do you know where the girls went? I only woke up a few moments ago." He added quizzicaly

"Aw, bummer." He said with a fake disappointed sigh. He watched Hawk draw in the sand and cracked a small smile.

Aha! A weakness. He thought.

"You really like Clover, huh?" He said with a toothy grin. "You two would be cute together, if you aren't already."
