storm didnt speak just kept her eyes on a plant across the room.after a few minutes she turned her head ''i know how things happen in the scorpion den i used to live there before a whole bunch of other places'' she muttered ''lets just say those 2 reminded me of 2 dragons i still want to destroy'' she hissed turning her head again

"I'm surprised you survived long enough, then." He shook his head. "Look, the smarter thing to do is keep your head down, especially considering how noticeable a…" Cairo trailed off, trying to think of what kind of hybrid Storm was. "Night-Ice-Rain-Sand… oh, who even care. How noticeable a black glittery hybrid with a barbed tail is, let's say that."

He opened the crate again and set the bandages inside before placing the trinkets back on top. He continued speaking, this time with a tired sigh. "I don't want to let anyone die, but I don't want you to get a target on may back either, so would you just lay low and let this desire for vengeance— or what you think is justice— be the end of you later?"

He shook his head, thinking about what had happened between him and his brother. "Look, vengeance, which you might deem as justice, is destructive for everyone involved, including yourself. There's no one-hundred percent happy ending."

storm thought for a moment ''hm you sound a bit like my mother'' she laughed a slight smile showing for a moment ''well i think they would notice you to your different than other sand wings'' she shrugged

"Well then your mother was a wise dragon." He added with a toothy grin. He knew what she was talking about, and looked at his tail which was missing the barb. He gave a sort-of half truth. "Yeah, but I've been here my whole life. Other dragons know me by now, and it does sometimes take a second glance to see I don't have one." He shrugged.

Not a total lie; he did grow up in the SandWing kingdom… just on the nicer, more safe stronghold side.

storm paused ''yea she was'' she said her slight smile instantly changed to a frown her colors changed from there normal black with flecks of blue,white and a mix of blue and green to solid black even under her wings was black she zoned out from the world picturing her mothers face a pretty dragon with black scales with flecks of green and white and blue and dark blue eyes

He didn't have to be a detective to know Storm's mother had died or that something awful had happened to her, but he didn't really care. He lost his own mother in a war, and who knew where his father had gone MIA.

It doesn't make her "special" that hers are gone too, he thought bitterly. But he wanted to get on her good side so she'd inevitably trust him. He put on a sad look and shook his head.

"Oh, I'm… so sorry." He said softly. "What an awful thing that must have happened to her. I'm sure she was a wonderful dragon."

And an awful parent, considering you are the way you are. He thought, much to his own twisted amusement.

storm hissed ''no! she was not a good mother!'' she snapped her scales flashing bright red ''she was as bad as the ones who killed her!'' she growled standing up a large cut in her front right leg protested but she stood anyway ''she and my father taught me 3 things fighting sadness and pain!'' she snapped angrily clearly agitated her tail lashed rage filled her eyes and her tail was lashing

He turned to Blindeyes and nodded. "Yeah, it's Storm. I was just patching her up." He stated casually. "She seems to be generally alright; not nearly as bad as poor Clover."

He looked towards the door expectantly. "Maybe we should go check on her and Hawk?"

Edit because I'm blind :,D
He was taken aback by Storm's anger, and blinked in confusion. "Oh… sorry?" He stated somewhat quizzically, not certain how to react to Storm's troubled dragonethood.

storm walked to a corner and curled u there her wings covering her head her scales were still red but flecks of blue could now be seen

(i gave her so much trauma lol its like my life lol)
