He rolled his eyes and tried to steer the topic of conversation from... whatever that was. He cleared his throat. "Well, we could all go get something to eat? Maybe?"

He went over to a small stove, and opened the cabinet next to it. "I'm all out of groceries, it seems."

He gestured to Storm, and grabbed a small pouch of treasure. "C'mon, let's go buy some fresh groceries." He added jokingly. "If you're good, I'll get you a treat!"

He turned to Blindeyes and nodded. "Yeah, that's true. We can get some groceries on the way back."

He slipped out the door and gestured for the others to follow. "C'mon, I can show you guys back to the hospital."

His mind was like a soft fuzz, as it always was when a dragon was wearing skyfire. He didn't pick up on Blindeye's confusion, and led her to the doctor's office.

"She should be in there. I'll come in for a bit, then I've got to get some more food for my house." He stated somewhat casually, although in reality he was nervous.

This place is too close to my brother's house. He thought anxiously. I don't want him to find me.

storm was in the back of the group her scales black showing no emotion nor did her eyes i hope clover will be ok but what if she died because of me? were ember? and were on earth is viper! thoughts raced in her head

viper sighed ''hi mom'' she said simply ''viper you know that you could have died right?'' her mother said ''yes i know but they were attacking my friends!'' she said her mother just sighed

He stayed in the waiting room for a while, but decided to slink away and go to the market. Wandering the shady stalls, Cairo found a decent-enough produce stand, and bought a few snacks for himself.

He turned to Storm, handing her an agave fruit. "Would you stop sulking? It's no use to dwell on the past." He sighed, then added. "Plus it's kind of one of my peeves.... Look, just eat something. It'll make you feel better."
