The alphas' pups have grown into adolescents and will no longer receive the benefit of eating before the rest of the pack. With harsh autumn and harsher winter approaching, their survival will depend on the successful hunting of the pack adults.

Pack Stamina
The alphas are both at their limit after expending all resources to raise their latest litter of pups, but they continue to push hard for the pack. The pack is not in peak condition but doing well, although prey is proving harder to find in the cooling months of autumn.

Evander was found dead--shot by humans. His loss is heart-wrenching; I truly hoped he would live to see adulthood within the pack.

Vitaly grew so large he was capable of out dominating the alphas. He was not of the disposition to overthrow the pack, however, and instead departed to find another pack that would be a better fit for him.

(Life happened today and yesterday, and although I had the chance to rollover, I wasn't able to finish the pack hunts for the day. Rather than penalize them for me being busy I "froze" their progress by maintaining food and mood where it was the day before. I'll think on other possible ways to handle similar events in the future.)
