Welcome to Wolvden: New Beginnings!This roleplay is a revival of my previous RP thread, "Write your story: Wolvden RP". This roleplay is set in the universe of Wolvden (so the Cataclysms and other events are cannon) but you are allowed to write your own story in this roleplay! To further elaborate, you can build your own head cannon with the collaboration of others for your wolves or an OC of yours! Regarding in-RP battles, make sure you read this! Discussions Forum: linkSign Up Sheet: link~Writing Format~Wolf Name/Location: (Minimum three sentences) Sample text: Berry - Coniferous Berry walked through the dense woods of the coniferous forest. She was wary as it was night and anything could be lurking in the dark. The hoot of an howl made her jump, and she skittered off deeper into the woods. Rules List1.Do not be a marry sue Although the sign up forum requires your wolf's stats, that doesn't mean you should boast about them. All wolves have a weakness, and if you have a high stat wolf signed up, it's unfair to paint them as an untouchable or super powerful being. Keep things fair especially when fighting in RP! 1. a) Do not overuse the term "dodge" or any synonyms that fall under it Your wolf can only dodge so much until they finally take a hit. I will allow you to dodge as much as 3 times until you have to get attacked in the roleplay. 1. b) Do not overuse your special abilities Treat in-RP battles as an RPG game. You can only use your special ability/attack ever so often in a single battle. Especially since you'll need the stamina to use such moves. Limit it to 2 times during a fight, like the dodge rule. If you stop to rest during a battle, you may use it one more time until you're on a "cooldown" that will last until your next fight. (It doesn't count if you use the move to teach another wolf or to show off.) 2. Abide to Wolvden TOS and Roleplay rules This rule is obvious, as everyone has to follow this rule when using the roleplay forums, or any forum for that matter. Unacceptable behavior will get you kicked from this RP or reported if you break TOS. 2. a) Limit ANY 18+ behavior Wolvden is a 16+ game so there will be minors playing. Keep any 18+ content to a minimum or don't do it at all. (No overly detailed descriptions of gory scenarios or sexual themes.) Excessive talk/use of these themes will get you kicked from the RP and/or reported if needed. All of this applies to the discussion and character sign up sheet forums as well. 3. Make sure to sign up at least one character before entering It's important to sign up a character first before chatting in the roleplay thread. This was a small issue in my last RP thread as it got confusing when a random person joins. It helps when you introduce your character a little in an RP and so I know who joins before the roleplay starts! 4. Have fun! Have fun in the RP forum! No need to rush posting in the RP thread, take your time. ^^ (The roleplay begins when at least three people sign up!) |

The golden brown wolf strode through the rolling hills of the grasslands. She licked her chops, having just finished a battle with a pack of coyotes that had been annoying her. Berry Bark was heading for a cluster of cedar trees. After escaping the sunlight in the shade of the trees, she sat down in the centre of the cluster. A few pack members greeted her and Berry politely returned their greetings. Soon she'd have to go back out to patrol more. Perhaps even catch some prey. |

Ash gazed up at the sky, it was such a wonderful day today. So much sunshine and a small breeze to keep the temperature just right, the smell of pine trees and damp earth... Yep, this was a good day! The only thing that ruined it was the lack of food and entertainment, it was causing disorder in the Pack because the nursing wolves wanted to eat first whereas the pregnant wolves said that they should eat first. Ash had had enough of their arguments and silenced them by saying that she would go exploring while the Hunters went Hunting and the Scouts rescouted certain areas. Ash stood still for a moment and listened... Somewhere in the distance a woodpecker knocked on wood, squirrels chattered, birds chirped... A peaceful day everywhere except at the den. |

Berry Bark casually walked about through the meadows of the grasslands. She had spent a few minutes resting her paws back in the heart of her territory before setting off again. Despite her pack size, they had a rather small territory ever since the Cataclysms destroyed their old home. Sniffing around, Berry had caught the scent of coyotes. Those damn coyotes didn't take the hint? She huffed to herself. More work to do for the alpha. Maybe there is a carcass nearby someone didn't finish? The golden brown she wolf sniffed the air again. Her suspicions were confirmed, the scent of a decayed horse carcass was somewhere not too far from the territory outskirts. With her tail raised and head up, she went over to the carcass, expecting to meet the coyote pack there. (Perhaps Berry Bark will find a wolf there too?) |

Calmly grooming herself, Anise lay down under a tall tree. She stared up at the sun through the leaves. She hadn't met very many wolves recently, and was feeling a bit wasted. Hopefully she could help someone soon. She knew there were wolves out there suffering from sickness and wounds, but it was so hard to find them and help them sometimes. She sighed and peeked into her pouch. Might be time to restock on that cedar bark. I wonder if there're any cedar trees around here. She stood up and began to explore, sniffing the ground in search of a scent. Anything would be welcome at this point; Anise was starting to get incredibly lonely. |

Ash jumped back into the safety of the woods, another wolf was coming! Ash prepared for battle, she needed that horse carcass more than anything right now! Her pack was on the brink of starvation, and she herself had gone without food for a week already. This fight would probably kill her, considering the fact that she had just escaped a pack of coyotes, but she was desperate. (Berry, your on. Find Ash before she attacks you!) |

Sniffing around, Berry Bark only just realised the scent of another wolf. She lowered her stance, cautiously approaching the horse carcass. The she wolf looked around the area. There was a group of coyotes in the distance, and then the bordering deciduous forests to her right. She'd lower her guard down a little, tearing off a bit of meat from the carcass and eating it for herself. It was a little rotten, but there was enough meat on it for it to be worth eating. Her ear flicked as she raised her head to look at the forest. That was when she noticed a pair of eyes staring at her by the trees, just behind the treeline. Berry let out a low growl, but kept her posture low as her focus was on the unknown wolf. |

Hearing a growl, Anise's head snapped up. "Hello?" She called, her ears perking up. She sniffed the air and began to walk towards the sound of the growl. She poked her head out of the trees. Her heart lifted as she saw the wolf, and she waved happily. "Hello!" She called again cheerfully. "Haven't seen another wolf in a while. You from a pack?" (She's probably going to try and stop them from fighting lol) |

"O-oh, erm.." She relaxed a little. This wolf seemed friendly enough. She let out a small sigh, giving the she wolf a polite smile. "I'm Berry Bark," her voice was calm yet playful. "And yes, I am from a pack here in the grasslands." The golden brown she gave a slight smile to the other wolf. "Erm, you can have this if you want. I'm not that hungry anyways." Berry backed away from the horse carcass, dipping her head politely at the wolf to give her space to eat. "I must ask though, what is your name?" Her head tilted slightly, wanting to know more about this wolf that she had met. |

Anise smiled at the golden brown wolf. "Nice to meet you," she said with a kind grin. "I'm Anise, a traveling herbalist. Trying to bring herbs and knowledge to packs that don't have it." She dipped her head and took a few small bites from the offering. "Thank you," she said gratefully. |
