Kaz nodded and walked further up as if he was going to Jimmy but instead walked into a coffee shop and sat next to a window where he had a clear view of Maple and Jimmy. Able to hear everything he had called 911 and watched Maple and Jimmy making sure if they we're to move he could follow them.

Jimmy grabbed Maples upper arm and started to drag her down the street talking as they went "ima getchu to your ma an then we can hava bito fun... If ya know what I mean..." Maple shivered and swallowed a yell, yelling would do no good. She looked around terrified but unsure what to do, all she could do now was wait for help.

Kaz watched as Jimmy dragged Maple and soon left the coffee shop following not too far behind in a crowd, still on the phone with 911 but making sure Jimmy couldn't hear him. Keeping the dispatcher updated on their location so the cops could arrive.

Jimmy stopped in front of a run down old house that was missing a window and the paint was peeling off and he said "nothin like bein home, huh girl?" Maple looks at the house and can't resist a glance at Kaz, hopefully he doesn't stop being her friend because of the way the house she lives in looked... Jimmy took a step into the house when Maple shouted "WAIT!" Terror ringing out in her voice, she struggled to think of an excuse to make to get away but nothing was coming to mind, she had to think fast!
Jimmy glares at her and growls "well?..." She looks around then back at him and says " i- I forgot my school papers and mom will- mom will be mad if I don't show them to her and you don't want mom to be angry do you? " it was a stupid excuse but he was drunk so it might work... Jimmy thought for a minute then shrugged and said "she'll only yell at ya, the same as always... Nuthin new there now come on!" And with a sharp jerk Maple and Jimmy were inside the house, the door clicked shut behind them.

Kaz watched from the neighbors house before giving the dispatcher the address and within minutes heard the sirens in the background getting louder, "Just... hand in there.." he whispered to himself

Maple heard the sirens all she had to do was delay whatever Jimmy had planned but how? He was yelling at mom about how there wasn't anything to eat and that she needed to get something, but it was stupid because there was a lot of food in the fridge and when there isn't mom sends Maple to get it... Then Maple gets an idea, while Jimmy yells at her mom she can edge her way out the door! Maple slowly start towards the door, one small step after another, can't move fast or he will detect her... To late! Jimmy sees Maple and grabs her shoulder and yells "where you goin!?" Maple shudders and says " i- I was gonna get the food-" Jimmy cuts off what she was saying by slapping her face so hard that she nearly fell out of his grip, the left side of her face goes numb and she stares at Jimmy, disoriented by the slap she had received

Kaz's eye's grew bigger as he heard the yelling but thankfully the police had just shown up, several officers rushing to the door and one asking him for his story

Maples vaguely aware of banging on the door, Jimmy releases her and she crumpled onto the floor completely lost to what's happening around her.

Maples mom opened the door a crack and said "who called you? Nothing's wrong here!"

(What would a Police officer do in this situation?)

(uhhhh.... Tbh not 100% sure but we'll just go with smth!)

The officer's peaked into the small crack in the door and witnessed just a bit of what was happening "There's been a report. We need to talk to everyone currently in the house" the officer said

Kaz finished making his report and sat on the corner by the neighbors house behind a police car to hide himself
