Early the next morning Maple got up and dressed into a fresh pair of baggy jeans and a clean black long sleeve shirt, she grabs her back pack and jogged down the street towards the college, the directions were written very clearly on a piece of paper she was carrying. As Maple entered the college she reached into her pocket (she was also wearing Kaz's jacket) she found a slip of paper with a number on it, she squinted at the writing then smiled, Maple pulled out her phone and made a new contact, she labeled it 'Kaz the Hero' then put away her phone, first thing she would do today is find the library... ... Which took awhile but Maple did find it! (And she only got lost twice in the process!!) She smiled happily, this was where she spent most of her time, in a library. Her first class would be in an hour, it was math... She would find the class room in half an hour, that way she would have plenty of spare time if she got lost! (Do I need to write more?) |

Maple ended up texting Kaz: (Her text) 'Hey Kaz! (Maple here) sorry to bother you, but I'm a little lost... What floor is Math Class on?' Marcus rolled out of the hotel bed he was in and looked around, his mind was slightly groggy but he was aware that he would be late for class if he didn't hurry, he grabbed his t-shirt from yesterday, pulled it over his head then snatched up his phone and a cup of cold coffee that he bought yesterday. Having collected what was needed Marcus ran all the way to the college building. Elsie stopped in front of Maples house, Maple wasn't home, that much was clear, but what about Marcus? Was he home?... Elsie shook her head, what did it matter? Marcus didn't take any interest in her anyway! She would just have to try and get to some other boy, someone that knew Maple, if Elsie was lucky, she could get her hands on someone Maple was close to and find out her weakness, yes, that's what she would do! |

 )Kaz heard a buzzing from his phone in his back pocket and took it out, reading a text from Maple "3rd floor, room 163" he replied to the text with a smile before continuing his walk to the animal shelter, he still had enough time before class, as if class was even on his mind yet. The animal shelter was in sight but then he started to question it... What would he adopt? How does he take care of a cat? Is a cat right for him? With no idea he kept walking. "Maybe they'd help him out at the animal shelter.." he thought to himself. Once he got to the animal shelter he had a weird feeling of anxiety in his stomach. Going in and being greeted before looking in the cages, starting with dogs Misty was in the back feeding some of the cats and doing some kitten play time appointments hoping one of the kittens would be adopted today as one of the recent kittens that was born needed special care due to her only having one eye. A small black kitten, with one eye too. Not something someone would ever want. She did though, but due to all her time at the shelter she wouldn't be able to adopt the little kitten she had fell in love with since the first few weeks of her being at the shelter. |

Marcus ran to the elevator and pretty much smashed the 3rd floor button, he was going to be late!! Elsie walked by an animal shelter and down a small sidewalk, past a hotel and stopped in front of Maples college. Go in and torture Maple, or go to the Make up store?... |

 ) He had stumbled upon a room fulled of kittens marked as "Kitten play time" there was a sheet where you can sign up to play with the kittens for 30 minutes. He had just 25 minutes before class started, but he wasn't having a good day so he could just make everything up online if he needed. Signing off on the appointment sheets he watched the kittens, friendly, playful well also little cuddle demons. Perfect.Misty watched as Kaz filled out the appointment sheets and took them from him once he was done, there was no one in there yet as the shelter had just opened for the day, "Are you looking to adopt, or just play?" she had asked Kaz but all he did was shrug "I guess kinda both" he replied and she just smiled "right this way" she said well opening one of two of the doors, going over rules and bringing in a box full of toys, wet foot, treats, and etc for the kittens. |

(from Maples Notebook) I smiled at my best friend Lily, she was always trying to cheer me up but it never worked, of course, I would never tell her that and always pretended like she made me perk up, but truth be told... I don't think I'll ever be happy again, since dad died and I was left on the steps of Uncle Berts house... Marcus walked into Poetry Class right on time, he wouldn't miss this class for the world! Elsie chose to go to the Make up store, there were always new things coming out and she couldn't wait to see what was newest! |
