Kaz did as told and walked through the second door and started playing with the kittens, one spesifically caught his attention, it watched them from the other side of the room quite curious yet scared to come up to him. They walked over to the kitten who had seemed to only have one eye, a small black little male kitten. He loved attention, yet he wasn't very much of a pest. Kaz smiled and played with the kitten some more before asking Misty how much it was to adopt him.

Misty was happy yet also sad that the kitten she liked so deerly was going to be adoped. "$500 per a kitten" she replied, trying to make it seem expensive so he wouldn't adopt the kitten.

"I'll take them!" Kaz replied with a smile and picked up the kitten gently, holding it close to him and finished filling out some papers, paying and then buying some items for the new kitten witch included a harness, toys, food, leash, bed, blanket, etc.

Eh, I dunno what to write! 😵😵))

Maple sat up as class began, she hates Math, but she has to take it if she wanted to be a vet tech.


Marcus smiles at his new poem, maybe the teacher would like it!

Marcus' poem (I actually came up with this poem in 2019!)

Raindrops.

Raindrops shine in light,
They make me feel delight,
They land on grass and look like glass.
They're Raindrops, in the morning dew light.

Kaz walked the kitten back into the dorms and dropped them off in the dorms before having to go to class, it was okay thought because they where sleepy anyways, and Kaz walked to his next class, Art

By the end of math class Maple was starting to feel anxious, so she left the college and went on a walk around a creek. As she walked she started thinking about everything that happened yesterday, what would happen to her and Marcus now? She's startled out of her thoughts when her phone starts to ring, it's a number she doesn't know so she answers.
Phone conversation:

Maple "hello?"
Person: "hello, is this Maple Clove Murdocks?"
Maple: "yes, who am I speaking to?"
Person: "my name is Helen, I'm with the Police. I called to let you know that you will be moving in with your Aunt Clive, she will come and pick you up from your house so you can move in with her, your brother Marcus will be moved elsewhere."

a moment of silence passes when Maple ask:
Maple: "where's Marcus going?"
Helen: "He's being notified right now of where he's going, if he wishes to tell you he will call. Have a good day Maple."

Maple stares at her phone in disbelief, they were separating her and Marcus... Not that that was a bad thing, Marcus had a habit of yelling and Maple didn't like people that yelled... Her Aunt Clive was basically adopting her, Aunt Clive only lives three miles away from the college. Maybe this would all end better then Maple thought it would, but who knows? It is what it is!
She started walking home, thoughts of Aunt Clives incredibly clean house filling her mind.



Marcus ended the call and smiled, he was going to live with Dad! Wait til Maple heard this! Marcus was moving to Dallas, Texas to live with his dad!!

Kaz finished up his photography class and went back to his dorm to play with his kitten, "I wonder what Maple was doing.." He thought to himself and took a quick photo of his new kitten Binx and sent Maple a photo before going back and playing with Binx, soon Binx had fallen asleep on Kaz's bed and so they went to start setting things up for their new kitten, starting with a cat tree, then a littler box, then the food dishes, and etc.

Maple feels the buzz of her phone and sees a text from Kaz, oops! How could she have forgotten to tell Kaz that she was moving?!
She quickly texted:

'oh my word, Binx is so cute!!
Hey, I recently got a call from the police, they said I'll be moving in with my Aunt Clive, Marcus is going somewhere else. He hasn't told me where though, I'll be packing my stuff and moving in with Aunt Clive this afternoon; She's a really nice single lady, I hope you can meet her soon. I won't be back in college until tomorrow. Unless Aunt Clive moves me to another College, I guess I'll have to wait and see though! Tell Binx I said hi and that he's adorable please! 😊'

When Maple finished with that she stepped into her house and ran to her room, she opened up her dressed and pulled out some jeans and long sleeves, crammed them into her bag, then grabbed a framed photo of a chestnut horse and carried her things outside, she had never owned much so moving was no big deal.

Soon a car pulled up in front of the house and her Aunt Clive climbed out.

Kaz quickly read the text and grabbed Binx and put them on their harness and leash, Putting them into the passenger seat gently and driving to Maple's house hoping she didn't leave yet for one last goodbye if it was even possible. Waiting for what felt like forever at the red light he had finally made it to Maple's house, parking down the street though for more of a surprise before walking up to the house with Binx tucked in their side covered with a jacket so Maple couldn't see. He didn't want her to leave but he was glad that she was able to finally break free from the hell she was living in. standing out in the driveway he sent Maple a quick text "Come outside" and waiting there in the drive way for her

Maple poked her head out the door after she read Kaz's message and a beaming smile shone on her face when she saw Kaz, she ran outside to him and stopped, she said "my Aunt Clive will be here soon! Maybe you can stay long enough to meet her?" Maple looks slightly unsure but waits for a reply

Kaz nodded and smiled before taking Binx out of the side of his jacket "New kitten adopted!" he replied with a smile and held up Binx, "They may have one eye but that's okay!" he said once more with a smile

Maple laughed and replied "He's the cutest little guy I've ever seen!! Since he's a new adopt it would make sense why I didn't see him yesterday!" Maple giggles and gently rubs Binx's head "hey there little guy! You been enjoying Kaz's company?" Maple laughs when Binx starts to purr, " I think that's a yes! "

Just then a 2003 Ford Focus whips into a parking space and a young(ish) woman hops out and runs up to Maple. She embraces Maple swiftly and says "Maple I'm so glad to see you! I'm so sorry about your mom! Who's this young man? Is that his pet? Hello! I'm Clive, Maples Aunt. It's a pleasure to meet you mister?..."
Maple smiles and says "Aunt Clive, this is Kaz. He's the one that helped me!"
Aunt Clive smiles and says "oh it's so nice to meet you!! Thank you for saving Maple! Just call me Clive if you'd like! Come and visit Maple anytime!! We live 3 miles away from the college she goes to! Do you go to the same college?" As she says all this Clive has taken one of Kaz's hands and is pumping it up and down in a vigorous hand shake.
