Suddenly Maple stops and says "but what about my mom? My up and leaving without warning will infuriate her, and Jimmy. Technically I'm not old enough to leave home... What if once I'm gone, Jimmy starts hurting mom? Or Marcus? I can't just abandon them to that!"




Marcus had finally found a hotel cheap enough to stay the night at and he sighed heavily as he entered the small room, he wondered how Maple was holding up to mom's screaming, it seemed like lately mom had started screaming at Maple about everything...

A short blonde haired girl shoved past Maple and said "Maple, move your butt out of the way! Don't be a road hog!" Then she turns to Kaz and says " hey there, I'm Elsie, it you want my advice don't go out with Maple, she's not that great. " then Elsie walks off as if she owns the place.

Kaz raised an eyebrow at Elsie, "We aren't dating and you're in no place to manage my life" he replied

Elsie glances back at Kaz and replies "oh well, your in luck, Maples not the type to date, she has a lot of family issues!"


Maple stares at Elsie horrified and says "you shouldn't go around trying to control other people's lives and you have no right telling people that I have issues! If I want them to know I'll tell them!" Then Maple turns back to Kaz and says "I have to go home, I can't leave mom alone with... Jimmy."

Maple waits a second then carefully removed Kazs jacket and gives it back to him "I really appreciate your willingness to help me, but I can't leave mom alone with Jimmy." Maples voice cracks as she adds " thanks for... Being a great and caring person! " she turns and walks (actually it was more like a run) away, towards her house.



Elsie scoffs and says "she's such a wimp! How can she have friends? Oh, wait! She doesn't have any!" Elsie laughs loudly completely ignoring the sound of sobs following Maple.

Marcus grabbed his phone off the side table and glanced at the new message there, mom wanted to know where Maple was... She was probably still at the college with her new 'not' boyfriend... So that's what Marcus texted to his mom... His mom didn't reply, which was ok since he didn't plan on replying to anything else until tomorrow...

Kaz started to grow an angry look on his face due to Elsie and chased after Maple trying to get her to stop in fear of her own safety, she got lost in the dorms, how was she not to get lost out in the streets on her own. "MAPLE" he had screamed

Maple ran harder, she was crying while she ran which made it hard to see, she stumbled a few times but kept up a steady run. She rushed by several people before she crashed into a large man. Now when I say large I mean this man is about 6' 5" and all muscles , he has black messy hair and cold unforgiving eyes.
Maple looked up and paled "J- Jimmy?"

Kaz continued to run after Maple watching as she tumbled into the taller man before stopping and watching from a distance, pulling out his phone ready to make the call if he needed

Jimmy's face turns red, he looks infuriated. His right hand clamps Maples shoulder in a vise like grip and he growls "where you been girl?"  Maple bites her bottom lip and is very clearly trying to hide her emotions as she says "I just left the college... I don't know where Marc-" Jimmy clapped a hand over Maples mouth and said in a whisper "girl... If you know what's good for ya and your family... You'll do as I say" Maple could smell Jimmy's breath and knew immediately that he was drunk but when he whispered to her she knew that whatever was about to happen would be worse then a beating. Maple glances back at Kaz and as soon as Jimmy wasn't watching she mouthed one word "Help."
